The Opportunity: Terabase is currently seeking a Sales Director to sell our SCADA/PPC solutions to designated key solar EPC and IPP accounts in North America . Reports to the VP of Sales. What You'll Do at Terabase: Lead sales of SCADA/PPC products to key EPC and IPP accounts in North America Support market launch and commercialization of new products and services Lead contract negotiation processes, working with the legal team, to balance Terabase contractual risk with key business metrics. Provide feedback to the application, product, engineering, and executive teams to improve Terabase’ products and solutions Maintain accurate sales forecasting and reporting What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and minimum 5 years’ experience selling electrical related equipment and/or services to utility-scale solar companies. Proven experience and success with complex B2B sales to EPC’s and IPP's, particularly helpful if candidate has experience selling SCADA systems and knowledge of solar construction. Ability to articulate and sell value. Contracting and negotiation acuity Customer-focused mentality with a consultive approach Travel (up to 50%) within the US Excellent verbal and written communication skills Required Attributes: Knowledge and familiarity of the utility scale PV industry, >5 years' experience Understanding of Supply / value chains within the industry Pre-existing relationships with IPP’s and EPC’s; understanding of who the key players are. Ability to sell technical products Mandatory technical background Technical understanding of our products and how/why customers impute value Curious, ability to ask questions and provide solutions; comfort with a consultative selling approach Agreeable personality, high EQ Hustle – 50% travel, build relationships with key accounts from top to bottom; understand our customer’s unique strategies and needs. Ability to ask for orders and get deals closed. Contracts Experience negotiating EPC contracts and knowledge of key terms. Compensation And Benefits The anticipated salary for this role will range between $170,000 and $ 190,000 annually, plus commissions. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each posted range, individual pay is determined (and may be greater or higher), dependent on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Role The Role This is fundamentally a legal operations role focused on building and maintaining a scalable, efficient, and compliant contracting function at Terabase. The Contracts & Deal Desk Manager will serve as the operational glue between Legal and Sales Ops, while also partnering closely with Supply Chain, Project Management, and other teams involved in the contracting lifecycle. Working closely with the VP of Legal, this person will lead policy implementation, manage our CLM system (Ironclad), and drive continuous improvement in workflows, templates, and processes. This role will also serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating between internal stakeholders and external counsel, helping ensure that outside legal support is used thoughtfully, efficiently, and at the right inflection points in a deal. The ideal candidate brings construction-savvy business judgment, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of how to operationalize contracting at scale. This role is remote, with infrequent travel (<10%). Responsibilities • Partner daily with the VP of Legal to triage, route, and manage contracts • Own and manage deal desk operations for customer, partner, and vendor agreements • Act as the primary liaison between Legal and Sales Operations, including internal teams and external counsel for contract workflow coordination • Take full ownership of our CLM software (Ironclad): manage templates, workflows, metadata, and reporting • Lead implementation of contracting-related policies and identify areas for improvement or creation of new policies • Generate internal deal approval materials: PowerPoint summaries, risk analysis, and commercial overviews • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, and Project Management • Redline NDAs, MSAs, and order forms using playbooks and guidance • Drive stakeholder alignment and internal approval processes • Build out and evolve legal workflows, including intake, escalations, and contract lifecycle automation • Develop and maintain clause libraries, template repositories, and training materials • Assist in legal ops functions such as dashboarding, reporting, playbook management, and external counsel coordination • Identify process bottlenecks and recommend automation or tooling improvements Requirements Minimum Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in legal operations, contract management, or deal desk roles • Familiarity with construction contracts and project-based commercial frameworks • Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated business judgment in contract execution • Experience managing and optimizing CLM systems (Ironclad strongly preferred) • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external legal counsel • Demonstrated ability to think logically, systematically, and proactively in managing contract workflows • Experience working across legal, sales, procurement, and project delivery teams • Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail is a must • Solar, EPC, or general construction industry experience strongly preferred • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred • Juris Doctor or LLM is not required but considered a plus.
