The initial work will be in the Federal Way and Franklin, WA As the Drilling Operations Manager, you will provide oversight of OSP construction projects and drilling crews in and around Greater Seattle, WA area – If you have experience as a OSP Construction Manager or Project Manager, and have assisted with financial management, project tracking, project operations, budgeting, vendor management and client communication and understand the Underground Drilling world this role will likely be a great fit! Our client's projects in this market will involve the upgrade fiber to the home infrastructure for a large, broadband service provider. The projects will involve primarily underground Outside Plant Construction work to upgrade equipment at each node in order to increase the broadband speed of the network. Our client is seeking someone looking for a long-term (Direct Hire) home - you will be a full-time employee from day one. Advancement opportunities will be available for this role. Role: •Oversight of all aspects of the region's business, including vendor management, tracking, providing updates and receiving feedback from end clients, etc. •Verifying with staff on the ground that work is being completed to company standards, making occasional site visits as part of this verification. •Monitoring overall crew performance and assisting with personnel decisions. •Administrative tasks such as vendor selection and billing, service agreement preparation and execution, P&L tracking and other related tasks. •Assisting with enforcement of company policies and safety requirements. Oversee site development, construction operations, and business growth for a telecom infrastructure business unit. | Extensive leadership experience in telecom construction, P&L management over $100M, and knowledge of tower builds, zoning, and network deployment. | We’re seeking a high-impact executive leader to oversee Site Development and Construction Services for one of the nation’s top wireless communications infrastructure providers. This role carries full P&L responsibility for a $100M+ business unit—driving growth, optimizing operations, and ensuring best-in-class performance across all phases of wireless network development and construction delivery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of telecom construction—from raw land and zoning through full turnkey builds and on-air delivery. Key Responsibilities Strategic & Financial Leadership • Own full P&L responsibility;drive profitable growth, cost control, and margin expansion across all service lines. • Partner with executive leadership to define business strategy and execute nationwide expansion across carrier and tower markets. Site Development & Construction Operations • Lead all aspects of site acquisition, zoning, permitting, and construction delivery for new builds, modifications, and upgrade programs. • Oversee general contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and schedule. • Standardize construction and field operations across multiple regions to deliver consistent, high-quality results. • Manage the full project lifecycle—from preconstruction and site readiness through closeout and on-air acceptance. Business Growth & Client Engagement • Develop and expand strategic relationships with carriers, tower owners, and utilities to capture new build and upgrade opportunities. • Lead business development initiatives that strengthen market presence and diversify service offerings. • Drive innovation through technology-enabled project management and advanced delivery models. Leadership & Culture • Build and mentor high-performing teams across site development, construction management, and field operations. • Foster a culture centered on safety, accountability, and operational excellence. • Champion collaboration between regional and corporate teams to enhance execution and client satisfaction. Qualifications • 15–20 years of progressive leadership in telecom construction, site development, or infrastructure services. • Proven success managing $100M+ P&L and large-scale field operations. • Strong knowledge of tower builds, zoning/permitting, construction management, and network deployment. • Exceptional financial acumen, client management, and negotiation skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed teams. • Bachelor’s degree required;MBA preferred. • Willingness to travel nationwide as needed.
