Lead state-specific communications strategies and outreach efforts, develop campaigns and educational assets, and manage stakeholder relationships. | 8+ years in communications, experience with environmental or regulatory programs, strong project management and stakeholder skills. | Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TallSky Consulting Group is representing Interchange 360, a national nonprofit focused on sustainable stewardship solutions. They are seeking a Director of Regional Communications to lead state-level communications and outreach efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing public awareness across various jurisdictions. Responsibilities • Lead state specific communications strategies and launch plans, beginning with Colorado • Translate regulatory requirements into measurable communication deliverables • Develop campaigns, timelines, budgets, media plans, and public awareness materials • Build relationships with municipalities, recyclers, regulators, producers, and other stakeholders • Oversee the creation of education assets such as signage, toolkits, digital content, and outreach materials • Track, report, and evaluate communications activities to support compliance and continuous improvement • Manage creative and media vendors to ensure high quality, consistent brand aligned content Skills • A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Environmental Policy, or a related field • 8+ of progressive experience in communications, ideally in environmental programs, government relations, or regulatory contexts • A track record of managing multi-channel campaigns and navigating complex regulatory frameworks • Exceptional writing, editing, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills • The ability to lead with clarity, collaborate effectively, and roll up your sleeves when needed • Experience with Extended Producer Responsibility, recycling systems, or environmental compliance is an asset Benefits • 401k matching • Medical • Dental • Vision benefits • Paid time off • Flexible working arrangements • Professional development Company Overview • Established in 2003, TallSky Consulting Group is a diverse and experienced team of highly reputable HR professionals servicing our diverse clients on Vancouver Island and across Western Canada.
