We’re seeking a flights focused full-stack or backend engineer to help scale our flight routing & booking engine. This includes working with airline loyalty programs to build our partnerships out for flight search and booking. You will be joining our resident flights expert in shaping the Flights & Loyalty team. Your Responsibilities Driving Core Feature Delivery: Taking ownership of major feature releases across the entire flight booking funnel, from flight search to booking creation and post-booking fulfillment. Building logic for award ticket inventory pricing & point transferring to our partners. Integrating with external airlines and GDS partners and navigating their complex communication protocols and data schemas. What You Bring to the Table 6+ years of engineering experience, most recently writing production-grade Python Experience with GDS systems, such as Amadeus or Sabre Technical experience in: Python / Django, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS. You’re into credit card points/travel hacking and book yourself many flights with points — and you can play all those pesky airline rewards search engines like an instrument. We're seeking a Senior Platform & Security Engineer to own the infrastructure, reliability, and security that everything we build runs on. This is a high-autonomy role for an engineer ready to define a function from the ground up—setting technical direction, taking work from concept through production, and growing into broader technical leadership as we scale. Treat our engineers as your customers—build the tooling, paved roads, and self-service workflows that let them ship quickly and safely. Own CI/CD and release automation, keeping the path to production fast, reliable, and observable. Own feature-flag, configuration, and secrets infrastructure, along with the reliability of our background-job, caching, and queue systems (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ). Improve observability and operational health across services through structured logging, error monitoring, and APM, and share in the on-call rotation for platform and infrastructure services. Own the platform's security guardrails—secrets management, IAM and access control, PCI/PII data handling, and vulnerability management. Own and automate compliance and audit readiness (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, partner security reviews), coordinating external auditors and making the process repeatable. Set technical direction for platform and security, driving toward infrastructure-as-code over time. What We're Looking For 6+ years of professional engineering experience, with a strong platform, infrastructure, or backend focus. Deep, hands-on AWS experience (EKS/Kubernetes, EC2, Lambda, RDS) in high-availability production environments. Strong CI/CD and release-engineering background, with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and a track record of building tooling that improves developer experience (Terraform a plus). Comfort working in a Python/Django codebase (Celery, Redis, PostgreSQL), able to read and contribute to platform code. Experience with modern observability and monitoring tooling across logging, error tracking, and APM. A security-minded engineer fluent in secrets management, IAM/access control, and dependency hygiene, ideally with hands-on PCI-DSS or SOC 2 experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. You’d Love This Job If You want to establish and own a platform and security function from the ground up.
