Review and validate the architectural design and implementation of OneStream solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and compliance with best practices. | Extensive experience in complex OneStream implementations, proficiency in VB.net, and a strong understanding of ERP data integration, with a preferred certification as a Lead Architect or Administrator. | SystemsAccountants is seeking a seasoned OneStream Architect to serve as an independent Advisor for a client undergoing a comprehensive FP&A implementation. The primary objective of this role is to provide technical oversight, ensure architectural integrity, and validate the delivery quality of the implementation partner. Role Overview The OneStream Architect Advisor will act as a strategic advocate for the client. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that the solution is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices. This is a contract position focused on quality assurance and project steering rather than hands-on development. Key Responsibilities • Review and validate the implementation partner’s architectural design, ensuring it meets long-term FP&A requirements. • Conduct periodic technical audits of the OneStream application, including Cube Views, Business Rules, and Data Integration workflows. • Assess the efficiency of the metadata design and dimensionality to ensure optimal system performance. • Provide unbiased recommendations on design trade-offs and potential risks identified in the partner’s roadmap. • Validate that the partner’s testing scripts and deployment plans are rigorous and comprehensive. • Advise the client project lead on technical complexities and hold the implementation partner accountable to agreed-upon standards. • Technical Qualifications • Extensive experience designing and delivering complex OneStream implementations, specifically within FP&A and financial forecasting. • Deep expertise in OneStream MarketPlace solutions (e.g., People Planning, Capital Planning, Task Manager). • Proficiency in VB.net for reviewing and optimizing custom Business Rules. • Strong understanding of data staging (Stage) and integration strategies from varied ERP sources. • OneStream Certified Lead Architect or Administrator credential preferred. • Professional Experience • Previous experience in a "Shadow Architect" or "Client-Side Advisor" capacity is highly desirable. • Proven ability to manage relationships with third-party consulting firms and challenge technical decisions constructively. • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical constraints into business impact for executive stakeholders
