Oversee large-scale telecom infrastructure projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget. | 7+ years managing telecom or network infrastructure projects, strong communication skills, and experience with project financials and reporting. | Job Overview Job Summary The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing large-scale colocation and dark fiber implementations from planning through completion. This role coordinates across multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with scope and business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong telecom infrastructure experience, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-threaded programs. Key Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end delivery of colocation and dark fiber projects across multiple sites and markets • Coordinate between engineering, construction, vendors, carriers, operations, and customer teams to track project progress and dependencies • Support colo and dark fiber teams with milestone tracking, project scheduling, and deliverable management • Facilitate project meetings, document outcomes, and ensure action items are assigned and completed • Track and manage project scope, budget, risks, issues, and change requests • Prepare and deliver clear weekly status reports summarizing progress, risks, and escalations • Analyze complex project issues and escalate effectively with concise, data-driven recommendations • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and operational requirements • Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, and reporting dashboards Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale telecom, colocation, dark fiber, or network infrastructure projects • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving multiple teams and external partners • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear executive-level updates • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience tracking project financials, schedules, risks, and dependencies • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard project management tools Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting colocation facilities, dark fiber networks, or carrier-grade transport environments • Familiarity with GIS tools and network inventory systems • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and dashboard tools • Exposure to GLM, ASRI, CoPilot, or comparable telecom systems • Background working with engineering, OSP, or network deployment teams Job Type: Contract Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Application Question(s): • Do you have experience managing large scale fiber projects?
