We are looking for a Python Developer – Game Tools & Content Systems to support our client's LightSpeed Studios team. This is a W-2 full-time contract based in Santa Clara, CA with remote work options. Use version control systems like Git, participate in code reviews, and support continuous integration processes and testing. Collaborate on Linux and Windows environments. What we need to see : Strong proficiency in Python, with a deep understanding of Python design patterns and architecture. Experience developing modularized applications in Python. Familiarity with asynchronous Python callbacks using Futures/asyncio. Proficiency in live Python debugging and performance profiling. Experience with 2D/3D content pipelines for games is a must. Knowledge of game engine development is preferred. Previous experience building user interfaces with PySide, PyQt, or similar.
