Manage customer projects ensuring timely, on-budget completion with coordination across multiple departments. | Requires extensive experience in modular construction and manufacturing processes, with strong organizational and communication skills. | Position Objective: The Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned customer projects and is responsible for coordination and completion of projects in a timely manner, within budget and scope. This includes coordination with the client, sales/estimating, engineering, purchasing and production along with the plant’s project coordinator. This position is fully remote in the state of Indiana. Annual salary range is $80 - $110k. Medical, dental, vision and other benefits available to employee and eligible dependents. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Review all plans, quotes and supporting documents to ensure familiarity with assigned project • Participate in design review meetings with customer • Participate in internal coordination and review meetings • Document customer (and internal) design and specification changes. Work with sales/estimating to provide necessary monetary changes/change order documents for approval by the customer • Assist with the project coordinator with coordination of transmittals (cut sheets, etc.) • Research specification, structural, and/or design/code issues and recommend equitable solutions • Ensure customer is up to date on outstanding items/info required as well as anticipated schedule • Other duties as assigned This position is also expected to: • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients • Be very detail oriented and well organized • Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written • Be skilled at problem solving and analysis • Possess a strong understanding of modular manufacturing processes, equipment and projection workflows Qualifications and Educational Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent · Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with modular construction · Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience without modular construction Job Requirements · Able to successfully pass a criminal background check (following a conditional offer of employment) · Ability to travel between facilities or projects sites up to 20% (occasionally overnight)
