Job Summary: Sun Holdings is seeking a motivated and service-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing organization. This role serves as a trusted business partner to operations and corporate leaders by providing guidance on employee relations, policy administration, compliance, recruiting support, performance management, and HR programs. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): • Partner with field and corporate leaders to provide day-to-day Human Resources support. • Advise managers on employee relations matters, coaching, corrective action, investigations, and conflict resolution. • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws. • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire integration. • Support recruiting activities, including interviewing, candidate selection, and hiring processes. • Manage employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations. • Assist with leave administration and coordinate with third-party administrators as needed. • Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee benefit inquiries. • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system. • Assist with performance management initiatives and annual review processes. • Coordinate unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other HR documentation. • Support training and employee engagement initiatives. • Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and company-wide initiatives. • Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics. • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information. What You'll Bring (Requirements): • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience. • Multi-unit, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume environment preferred. • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and related regulations. • Experience handling employee relations investigations and conflict resolution. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP experience preferred). • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred but not required. Job Summary: The Employee Relations Partner serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across multiple brands and locations, providing guidance and support on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, performance management, conflict resolution, and legal compliance. This role partners closely with Operations, Human Resources, Legal, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition teams to foster a positive employee experience while minimizing organizational risk. The Employee Relations Partner will proactively identify trends, recommend solutions, and support the execution of employee relations strategies that align with Sun Holdings' commitment to operational excellence, employee engagement, and compliance. Bilingual is a plus! Responsibilities: Employee Relations • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters across assigned regions and brands. • Provide guidance to managers regarding performance management, corrective action, policy violations, attendance concerns, and employee conduct issues. • Coach leaders on effective employee communication, conflict resolution, and best HR practices. • Respond to employee concerns and facilitate resolutions in a timely and professional manner. • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive employee matters. Investigations • Conduct thorough, impartial investigations involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace misconduct, policy violations, and employee questions. • Interview employees, managers, and witnesses; review documentation; and prepare detailed investigation summaries and recommendations. • Partner with Legal and HR leadership on high-risk investigations and employment matters. • Ensure investigations are completed in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Compliance and Risk Management • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. • Assist in responding to agency claims, unemployment hearings, wage and hour complaints, and other employment-related matters. • Monitor employee relations trends and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve workplace culture. • Support audits and compliance initiatives as needed.
