This role ensures seamless integration with manufacturing operations, alignment with CQV requirements, digital system connectivity (SAP/EWM/MES), and the development of kitting and outbound shipping processes. The Specialist partners with cross-functional teams to support reliable, compliant, and highly efficient material transfers that enable uninterrupted manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Kitting & Material Transfer Processes Design, build, and optimize material kitting workflows to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of materials from the central warehouse to manufacturing nodes. Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and warehouse teams to synchronize kitting activities with production schedules and storage constraints in JIT environments. Develop, maintain, and standardize SOPs and work instructions for kitting and transfer operations. CQV & Compliance Support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities for warehouse processes, equipment, and digital systems. Ensure all material movement processes comply with GMP, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Digital Systems Integration (SAP/EWM/MES/Tulip) Drive integration of digital systems to support paperless material tracking, inventory visibility, and automated workflows. Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement and validate interfaces between SAP/EWM, MES, and other digital platforms. Define and document user requirements for SAP/EWM transactions related to kitting, transfers, inventory management, and outbound shipping. Train warehouse staff on SAP/EWM functions supporting daily material operations. Outbound Logistics Develop and implement methods to monitor SAP for outbound shipping requests to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment. Analyze shipping and logistics performance to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Continuous Improvement & Change Management Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for process deviations and execute corrective and preventive actions. Initiate and manage change controls for process or system improvements. Champion a culture of continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and environmental performance. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field. Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments. Background in warehouse kitting, material transfer, and/or outbound logistics operations. Familiarity with CQV processes and documentation standards. Proficiency in SAP/EWM; experience with MES systems preferred. 3–5 years of experience supervising, designing, or optimizing logistics operations, particularly material flow across multiple process steps.
