Manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial reports, maintain records, assist with budgeting and tax filings, and improve accounting workflows. | Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience, proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel, strong attention to detail, effective communication, ability to work independently remotely, and a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. | Description: • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports ensuring compliance with US GAAP • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, receipts, and documentation for all transactions • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making • Ensure financial practices comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations • Recommend improvements to accounting workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy • Assist with preparation and organization of financial data for tax filings and work with external tax professionals as needed • Use financial software such as QuickBooks Online to manage company accounts and generate reports • Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies Requirements: • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant • Strong grasp of accounting principles and US GAAP • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online • Strong Excel skills • High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reconciliation tasks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required • Certification (e.g., CPA, CB) is a plus • Experience in a startup or tech environment is advantageous, but not required Benefits: • The ability to work remotely from anywhere. • Flexibility of working from home. • Opportunity to work with a dynamic, fast-growing team in the AI and analytics space.
