Greet patients, check them in/out, verify insurance, support telemedicine appointments, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced urgent care setting. | Must have Medical Assistant Certificate, CPR-BLS certification, high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and preferably Spanish. | Description Seeking a friendly, organized and motivated front office Medical Assistant for a fast-paced Urgent Care. • Hourly rate will be based on the level of experience. Responsibilities and Duties Excellent customer service skills are a must. Greet patients warmly and kindly on the phone and in person, make them feel welcome. Efficiently check patients in and out. Verify insurance and collect co-payments. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Able to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions. Demonstrate compassion to patients. Ability to calm upset patients and resolve their issues. Perform other assigned duties or those within the front office scope. Experience preferred but not required. Telemedicine Responsible for supporting virtual healthcare services by scheduling and coordinating patient appointments, collecting and documenting patient information, assisting with virtual check-ins, verifying insurance, preparing patients for telehealth visits, and providing technical support to ensure smooth remote consultations. Facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare providers in a virtual setting.
