Lead and rehearse a youth chorus, select repertoire, and coordinate performances with the orchestra. | Experience in directing youth or community choirs, musical skills (preferably piano), and availability on Mondays. | 🎶 Seeking Youth Chorus Director (Paid Opportunity) 🎶 Hello! I’m looking for a Youth Chorus Director to lead the South Orange County Orchestra Youth Chorus this spring. Details: 📍 Rehearsals: Mondays, 5:00–6:30pm 🏛 Location: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (Irvine) 💰 Pay: $100/week 🎹 Piano Skills preferred (no accompanist, but part tracks can be provided if needed) 🎼 Full freedom to select the repertoire 🎻 Chorus will perform with the orchestra for our inaugural concert on April 11, plus a youth chorus recital on June 6. The program technically starts this Monday (Jan 26), but I can cover rehearsals initially and help with the transition if needed. I’ll also be available for support, planning, and questions anytime.
