Perform laboratory sample accessioning and bench work for prenatal and clinical testing while maintaining quality standards. | Minimum 3 years clinical laboratory experience, BLS certification required, proficiency with specific laboratory information systems, and ability to work in PPE without phlebotomy duties. | A healthcare facility in Warren, MI is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is essential in supporting clinical laboratory operations, particularly focusing on prenatal testing and specimen processing within a high-standard laboratory environment. Location: Situated in the vibrant city of Warren, MI, this position offers access to a community known for its diverse amenities, accessible transportation, and a welcoming atmosphere for healthcare professionals. Schedule/Hours: • Monday through Friday • Standard hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Potential flexible hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Key Responsibilities: • Receive and accession laboratory samples accurately • Perform bench work related to prenatal and other clinical testing • Handle specimens while adhering to proper PPE protocols • Use laboratory information systems such as Epic, Sunquest, and CoPathPlush • Collaborate with laboratory team to maintain workflow and quality standards Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Minimum of 3 years clinical laboratory experience • Certification in BLS required; MLT certification is a plus • Solid background in specimen handling and laboratory processing • Proficiency with Epic, Sunquest, and CoPathPlush (LIS) technologies • Comfortable working in personal protective equipment without phlebotomy duties Interview Process: • 30 minutes to 1-hour interview available in-person or via MS Teams, depending on candidate location This contract offers a professional opportunity to contribute to important prenatal diagnostic efforts within a supportive clinical setting. We are currently conducting interviews and hiring for the remainder of the school year. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, and develop treatment plans. Please find more details below: Job Details: • Full-time position • Pay range - $20 - $35 (based on prior experience and interview) • Caseload will be discussed during the interview.
