We help clients and independently owned and operated sales companies grow together through versatile in-person marketing and sales campaigns inside retailers, businesses and through door-to-door canvassing. We have corporate offices in Newport Beach and Toronto. The Basics: • Location: Hybrid, 3 days on-site at our Newport Beach, CA office • Compensation: $130,000-$160,000/year, commensurate with experience • Travel: Up to 10% • Reports To: Manager of Finance and Analytics Position Overview and Impact: The Lead Analyst is a critical member of the Analytics team, responsible for leveraging advanced technical skills to transform complex sales data into actionable financial insights. This role combines deep analytical expertise with strategic thinking to support revenue forecasting, performance optimization, and profitability growth across both client organizations and independent sales representatives. The person in this role will apply their advanced Excel, Tableau, and financial modeling skills to analyze large, multi-source datasets, build dashboards, and conduct scenario analyses that inform strategic planning and decision-making. The Lead Analyst delivers performance updates and financial insights to senior leadership, while partnering with external clients and independent sales reps to uncover performance drivers and identify opportunities to improve profitability. Translating complex data into clear, actionable insights is essential to influencing strategy and building trust across stakeholders. Primary Functions: • Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts/campaigns, delivering sales analysis, financial reporting, and performance diagnostics to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability • Interface directly with independent sales representatives to analyze performance, optimize compensation structures, and identify strategies to maximize their earnings and business growth • Build and maintain financial models, including pro forma P&Ls, incentive structures, and scenario analyses to support forecasting and strategic planning • Conduct deep-dive sales and financial analysis to uncover trends, assess risks, and guide commercial strategy • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and Excel to visualize KPIs and support real-time decision-making • Validate and manage large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting deliverables • Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams in a clear, actionable format • Lead and collaborate on continuous improvement and process optimization efforts • Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed, contributing to broader FP&A initiatives Qualifications and Expertise: • 4-6 years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, FP&A or a related field • Experience working with or supporting independent sales networks, franchise models, or distributed business owners • Advanced proficiency in Tableau (including calculated fields and LOD expressions) and Excel • Strong analytical skills with experience validating, troubleshooting, and interpreting large, complex datasets • Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting, and operational analysis to support decision-making • Confident communicator, with experience presenting to executive and C-suite audiences • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and deliver under tight deadlines • Experience in process optimization, and continuous improvement • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field Total Rewards: Full-time positions qualify for a benefits package that includes vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, medical (with an HSA plan option), dental, vision and company paid Basic Life insurance, opportunity to enroll in Voluntary Life plans, Employee Assistance Program, 401K with employer match, employee referral program, home office stipend and opportunities for team building, growth, and development.
