The successful candidate will collaborate with designers and engineers across various disciplines, including architecture, MEP, and interior design. Job Responsibilities: - Provide designs for audiovisual, security, and telecommunications systems. - Create accurate drawings from engineer markups. - Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings from field markups. - Assist Project Managers with Programming efforts, creation of SDs, DDs, CDs, and Punch List assistance. - Gain proficiency in understanding our company’s products, services, and processes across various business silos such as Access Control & Surveillance, Sound Masking, Structured Cabling, and VoIP Wired and Wireless Networking Solutions. - Meet with clients to introduce additional services and identify opportunities to support their technology initiatives. - Attend construction site meetings and document construction progress. - Understand Master Specification Format and assist in writing and editing specifications. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in design production. - Familiarity with electrical systems, Audio/Visual systems, structured cabling, networks, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Proficiency using Revit/BIM360. - Experience with Bluebeam is a plus. - Attention to detail, professional demeanor, and a thorough and logical approach to work. This candidate will be responsible for providing design documentation for commercial and hospitality projects.
