Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive React desktop websites, maintain code quality, and collaborate in Agile teams. | Proficiency in React with hooks and JSX/TSX, strong HTML/CSS skills, experience with responsive UI, familiarity with Figma, Git version control, and RESTful APIs; TypeScript and Next.js experience desired. | Description: We are seeking a Full Stack Front End Developer for a contractor position who has experience in taking Figma designs and making a pixel-perfect mobile-responsive website from the designs. These designs are desktop versions of an existing iOS and Android app, where we seek to create a captivating Desktop experience for our users. This position would entail working alongside of others in a team, participating in daily stand-ups, and working in Jira. Commitment to good software development principles, problem solving, UI design, and creating quality products is essential. Requirements: Job Responsibilities • Translate designs from Figma into a Desktop website in HTML/CSS • Create/Build a responsive and reliable HTML/CSS site following good software development principles and methodology • Convert / Build React Components (i.e. jsx or tsx) • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application • Correct latency bottlenecks and address issues/bugs as they come up • Help maintain code quality • Documentation of the application and nuances specific to the Android ecosystem Skills & Requirements • Proficient in React (with hooks, JSX/TSX) • Strong HTML5, CSS3, and modern layout techniques (Flexbox/Grid) • Experience building responsive UI (desktop-first) • Familiar with Figma and translating design specs into code • Version control using Git/GitHub • Comfortable with RESTful API consumption • Desired: Experience with Tailwind CSS, Next.js, or TypeScript • Some familiarity with Android/web design principles a plus, but not critical
