What you'll do: Lead media relations for SAGE by developing and pitching story ideas to national, regional, and local media outlets; build and maintain media lists; monitor coverage and mentions; and respond to inbound media inquiries. Plan and manage the media pitch calendar, curating timely, relevant story ideas and content that align with SAGE's brand, seasonal themes, and industry trends. Collaborate with industry associations and education partners to develop and provide communications content for newsletters, conferences, and publications. Support the organization's incident response communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-aligned messaging. Identify and curate industry recognition award opportunities to highlight SAGE's excellence and innovation; manage submissions and follow-ups. Identify and secure speaking opportunities for SAGE leadership and sales team members at relevant conferences and industry events. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in public relations. Excellent business writing skills, editing and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with calmness and ease. Ability to handle multiple workstreams at one time, in an organized fashion.
