About the Role We’re seeking a highly experienced Sr. Loan Partner / Mortgage Operations Manager to join our growing mortgage team. This is a hands-on leadership role combining loan processing expertise with operational management responsibilities. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure loans are processed efficiently, clients are delighted, and business growth is achieved. Responsibilities • Manage and oversee the full loan pipeline from intake through funding • Partner closely with the Owner to structure deals, run numbers, and ensure clients are set up for success • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and answering questions throughout the loan process • Review files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before submission • Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and escrow/title partners to meet deadlines • Lead and mentor junior support staff to maintain consistency and efficiency • Track metrics and pipeline reports to keep the Loan Officer focused on production • Proactively solve problems and keep all parties informed of file status Qualifications • 5+ years experience in mortgage loan processing / operations • Strong knowledge of underwriting for conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo and non-QM loan products • The ability to analyze credit reports, income, and asset documents, as well as an understanding of general ways to structure a loan • NMLS license preferred (or willingness to obtain) • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously • Strong communication and client service skills • Experience with LOS systems (Arive, Encompass, Calyx, etc.) a plus • Leadership experience is highly desirable
