Manage HR functions and personnel across multiple warehouses ensuring compliance and strategic staffing. | Bachelor's degree and 4-10 years HR experience with preferred certifications and advanced degrees. | Summary/Objective The Human Resources Director, Warehouse is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for several RJW Warehouses.   Essential Functions 1. Manages HR Managers and HR Admin personnel across the RJW Warehouses 2. Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision. 3. Initiates, coordinates and enforces optimal operational policies and procedures 4. Develops strategies for performance evaluation, staffing training and development. 5. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security 6. Deals with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required 7. Anticipates and resolve litigation risks 8. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance. 9. Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters. 10. Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed. 11. Assists CHRO t in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program. 12. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CHRO, on personnel matters. 13. Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters. 14. Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization. 15. Develops and maintains a human resource information system that meets the organization's personnel information needs. 16. SPHR or SHRM Senior Certified Professional or PHR or SHRM-CP Certified Professional credential.   Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Ability to write letters and business correspondence; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all groups of employees, customers, and clients.   Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Close loads in the system.Coordinate with Customer Service Teams regarding special paperwork for certain orders such as: international, customers that prefer special BOL's etc. Enter customer orders and scan / index documents as required.Clearly understand goals, policies, and procedures of RJW.
