Provide front desk reception and clerical support, facilitate patient care and flow, process laboratory tests and results, document patient care, and assist medical staff in Radiology. | Completion of medical laboratory assistant or phlebotomy training or equivalent healthcare experience, plus BLS certification. | Regions Hospital has an opportunity for a Per Diem Lab Service Tech to join CT in the Radiology Department. This position provides front desk reception and clerical support, communicates with patients, family members, and providers, facilitates patient care and flow between different Regions departments and/or outside providers, processes laboratory tests and results assessments, documents patient care and ensures that the results are properly filed, operates multiple hospital computer systems, performs basic order entry, and assists physicians, nurses, and radiology technologists in the Radiology Department. Work Schedule: Per diem, Monday-Friday, day shift. Required Qualifications: Completion of a standard one-year medical laboratory assistant training program, phlebotomy program, or equivalent (e.g., Certified Medical Assistant, EMT, paramedic) OR one year of phlebotomy experience OR Associate degree or higher with two years of applicable direct patient healthcare experience, OR a successful completion of a radiology or ultrasound internship program. BLS from an AHA- or ARC-sponsored program. Additional Information: This is a non-union per diem (0 set hours per pay period) day shift position working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $19.16-$28.74 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is not eligible for benefits.
