SUMMARY Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a highly skilled Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead – Network and Cyber Security to lead the design, configuration, and integration of secure, high-performance computer platforms, networking and communications systems for uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) and their supporting infrastructure. This role is responsible for network configuration, including communication across radio and satellite communications (Satcom) systems, data transport, and cybersecurity. The IPT Lead will oversee a cross-functional engineering team, ensuring seamless and secure communication across all mission-critical platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties. Communication System integration and configuration efforts, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with UAS mission profiles. Develop and implement network configurations for secure, resilient, and scalable UAS communications. Manage satellite communications (Satcom) system integration, optimizing connectivity for global operations. Define data transport and compression strategies, ensuring efficient, real-time transmission of critical telemetry, video, and control data. Implement cybersecurity best practices, ensuring compliance with DoD security frameworks (NIST, RMF, NSA CSfC, etc.) and protecting systems from cyber threats. Collaborate with systems, software, RF, and IT security engineers to integrate secure communications across airborne and ground-based systems. Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), system-integration labs (SIL), and flight tests to validate communication system performance. Work with Program Management Organization (PMO), military customers, and stakeholders to define network and cybersecurity requirements for future product development. Ensure documentation of network architectures, security protocols, and system configurations for configuration management, compliance and sustainment. Implement, monitor, and maintain cyber security controls in accordance with approved security plans and procedures. Perform routine security monitoring, log review, and vulnerability scanning; track and support remediation activities. Execute patching, configuration updates, and system hardening activities. Assist with incident response activities, including initial investigation, containment actions, and documentation. Contribute to improvement of IS and cybersecurity procedures, checklists, and documentation. Provide formal guidance to team members to ensure the team has the required skills to accomplish overall team objectives. Implement processes to ensure team deliverables are met in a timely and consistent manner. Take ownership of the team’s deliverables to support ongoing contracts and product development commitments. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience. · 10+ years of experience in networking, communications, or cybersecurity engineering, preferably in aerospace, defense, or UAS industries. · Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are a plus. · Experience designing and implementing secure network configurations for UAS, GCS, and Satcom connectivity. · Deep understanding of data transport, compression techniques, and optimizing bandwidth for real-time telemetry and video streaming. · Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat mitigation, and compliance with defense security standards. · Proficiency in TCP/IP, software-defined radios (SDRs), encryption, and secure satellite communications. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to develop and deploy secure communication architectures. Hands-on experience with network integration and testing for flight operations or military-grade systems. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with experience managing secure communication architectures. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on threat modeling and cyber risk mitigation. Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with engineers, program managers, and military stakeholders. Detail-oriented, with the ability to document security compliance efforts and technical configurations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field is preferred. · Prior experience in UAS, secure military communication systems, or electronic warfare (EW) systems. · Experience supporting DoD accreditation processes for secure networking and cybersecurity implementations. · Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers within the team. · Adaptability to work in dynamic, high-priority environments with shifting technical challenges. · Experience working with ruggedized computing and networking hardware for military or aerospace applications. · Knowledge of military and defense industry standards related to ground support equipment and mission systems. SUMMARY Redwire is seeking a Supply Chain Compliance Manager to support the Director of Global Supply Chain in building and owning the procurement compliance infrastructure that the company relies on across its multi-site supply chain. Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain, this role designs the frameworks, systems, and internal controls that carry the company through Contractor Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR) and DCMA surveillance, while applying hands-on procurement judgment to how those controls actually operate day to day. The position pairs deep FAR and DFARS and government flowdown expertise with a strong buy-side background, ensuring compliance is engineered into purchasing operations rather than bolted on ahead of an audit. As the organization’s primary procurement compliance resource, the Supply Chain Compliance Manager stands up CPSR-certified purchasing systems from the ground up and drives a proactive, compliance-by-design culture across the team. This is a remote position with travel to company and supplier sites as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties. ● Owns the enterprise procurement compliance program, establishing governance, policies, internal controls, and command media that ensure FAR and DFARS and customer flowdown compliance across all purchasing operations and sites. ● Lead Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) readiness end-to-end: compile the full data universe, build audit-ready documentation, coordinate DCMA engagement, and drive corrective actions to closure to achieve and sustain an approved purchasing system. ● Stand up CPSR-certified purchasing systems and the underlying process architecture, including file documentation standards, price and cost analysis, competition, sole-source justification, and terms and flowdowns, built to scale with company growth. ● Build and maintain compliance frameworks for the Berry Amendment, TAA and BAA, ITAR and EAR, NDAA §889, and counterfeit and EEE parts avoidance, embedding requirements into supplier qualification and purchase order workflows. ● Direct government and contractual reporting required under contractual flowdowns, ensuring accurate, timely, and fully compliant submissions with audit-ready documentation. ● Apply hands-on procurement expertise to policy design, structuring supplier terms, long-term agreements, and flowdown language that hold up under audit and protect the purchasing ticket. ● Partner with buyers and category leads on supplier selection, negotiation, price and cost analysis, and file documentation, translating regulation into practical purchasing steps rather than abstract policy. ● Drive ERP (Odoo) data integrity and configuration so procurement transactions capture compliance evidence by design, including per-program traceability and demand pegging. ● Assess supplier performance and risk through a compliance lens, including counterfeit, cyber and CMMC, foreign ownership and control, and export exposure, and develop mitigation and contingency plans. ● Serve as the primary procurement compliance resource, advising executive leadership, Legal, Contracts, Quality, and Supply Chain on regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and risk mitigation strategies. ● Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority, running compliance councils and forums that strengthen audit readiness without adding bureaucracy. ● Develop and deliver compliance training on FAR and DFARS, customer flowdowns, and counterfeit avoidance, building organizational knowledge and a culture of compliance by design. ● Develop AI-enabled compliance tooling for supplier screening, purchase order deviation checks, CPSR file-readiness auditing, and exception flagging to improve consistency and speed across procurement. ● Establish KPIs and metrics for compliance health, file readiness, audit findings, and corrective-action cycle time, and report results to leadership. ● Travel up to 25% to company and supplier sites to support CPSR readiness, DCMA engagement, supplier assessments, and cross-site process rollout. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS ● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree, or professional certifications (CFCM/CPCM, CPSM, CSCP, APICS), is highly desirable. ● 7+ years of progressive experience in defense or aerospace procurement and/or procurement compliance, including direct CPSR preparation and DCMA engagement. ● Demonstrated ownership of, or a leading role in achieving, an approved government purchasing system (CPSR). ● Deep working knowledge of FAR and DFARS, U.S. public law, customer flowdowns, the Berry Amendment, TAA and BAA, ITAR and EAR, and NDAA §889 as applied to government contracting. ● Strong procurement and sourcing background, including negotiation, long-term agreements, price and cost analysis, and supplier and contract management. ● Experience with EEE and counterfeit parts avoidance (familiarity with AS5553 and AS6081 a plus). ● Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or Oracle) and comfort using data, automation, and AI-enabled tooling to strengthen controls. ● Proven ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority, with strong training, facilitation, and written and verbal communication skills. ● Experience building compliance programs, SOPs, and supplier qualification processes from a blank slate and scaling them in a high-growth environment. ● Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. ● A commitment to continual learning and growth, as a leader and in the field.
