Assist in monitoring and implementing security controls, documenting incidents, and supporting vulnerability management under close supervision. | Entry-level experience with security monitoring, following standardized procedures, and supporting security initiatives with guidance. | The Associate Information Security Analyst exercises judgment when following detailed instructions and standardized procedures to complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines. This role is responsible for assisting in monitoring and implementing security controls to protect the organization's information systems and networks. The role resolves issues of minimal complexity, ensuring compliance with security standards and operational guidelines. The role supports security initiatives under close guidance and direction, contributing to the organization's information security objectives. Note: This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws. • Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities. • Follow standardized procedures to maintain and update firewalls, encryption protocols, and security configurations. • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of security policies to control physical and virtual access to information systems. • Document security incidents, changes, and configurations following established protocols. • Collaborate with the security team to support basic vulnerability management processes and risk assessments. The salary range for this position is $36.22 - $57.92. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications. Pay Transparency Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. What You Will Do Architecture & Design • Establish and maintain the architectural vision and philosophy for the OpenShift platform. • Promote consistent architecture across teams and products. • Identify long-term challenges and develop strategic solutions. • Act as the final technical decision-maker when needed. • Drive cross-cutting initiatives across multiple teams and organizations. • Partner with external organizations to ensure architectural consistency and reliability.
