Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise mobility applications, manage cross-functional teams, and collaborate with global stakeholders. | Extensive experience with mobile development (.NET MAUI, Xamarin), Microsoft architecture, SQL Server, Azure, and proven leadership in application development. | Job Description The Enterprise Mobility Applications Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, delivery, and ongoing evolution of Pyxus’ Grower Management System (GMS), with a strong focus on modern mobile technologies such as .NET MAUI. This role combines technical leadership with people management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned mobility solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can work effectively with global business and technology teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, actively participate in stakeholder discussions, and lead high-performing development teams. Responsibilities Technology & Solution Leadership • Lead the architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise mobility applications, with a primary focus on .NET MAUI-based mobile solutions and supporting web platforms. • Define and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures aligned with Microsoft best practices. • Ensure alignment of mobility solutions with broader enterprise systems and integration standards. • Oversee interfaces between GMS and other Pyxus enterprise applications. • Drive performance optimization, reliability, and application quality across mobile and web platforms. • Ensure proper testing, validation, and readiness of solutions prior to production release. • Coordinate and manage production releases and deployment activities. People Management & Team Leadership • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of developers, analysts, and support resources. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. • Ensure proper source code management, code reviews, and adherence to development standards. • Support skill development and modern engineering practices across the team. Stakeholder & Business Engagement • Actively engage with global business stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities, and regional needs. • Facilitate and actively participate in business and technical meetings, workshops, and design sessions. • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical designs. • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Data, Sustainability, Operations) to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Delivery & Governance • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies. • Ensure solutions meet data quality, reporting, and compliance requirements. • Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage delivery and continuous improvement. • Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, compliance, and data governance standards. Qualifications Core Competencies Technical • Strong hands-on experience with .NET MAUI, Xamarin (legacy), and Microsoft mobile/web development technologies. • Deep understanding of Microsoft architectural patterns (MVVM, MVC). • Experience with SQL Server, including data integration and reporting concepts. • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and modern application hosting models. • Strong understanding of GitHub, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation. • Familiarity with enterprise mobility security and identity integrations. Leadership & Communication • Proven people management and team leadership experience. • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across global teams. • Ability to collect, clarify, and document business requirements effectively. • Confident communicator with the ability to present to business and technical audiences. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 10+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years leading application development or mobility teams. • Experience managing enterprise-scale applications in a global environment. • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred. • Willingness to travel internationally for up to 2–3 weeks at a time.
