Role Summary The Solution Consultant brings deep supply chain and technology expertise to inform, validate, and build out solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value across the 4PL program. This role leads solution design workgroups, develops process maps, defines KPIs and SLAs, and creates operational routines and SOPs that enable the Control Tower team to execute effectively. The Solution Consultant plays a critical bridge role between strategic program design and day-to-day operational reality, ensuring that every solution deployed is not only technically sound but operationally sustainable. Candidates must bring a combination of supply chain domain depth, structured analytical thinking, and clear communication skills. Key Responsibilities • Lead assigned solution design workgroups, facilitating design sessions and driving consensus on process flows, integration approaches, and operational standards. • Assess current-state processes and identify opportunities to improve designs and accelerate implementation timelines and benefit delivery. • Build and maintain process maps, technical specifications, and risk documentation for all assigned solution areas. • Participate actively in all design discussions, bringing subject matter expertise to ensure solution integrity and practical operability. • Lead the creation of new operational processes supported by comprehensive documentation, change impact assessments, and stakeholder communications. • Drive the development of KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards aligned to program value opportunities and client reporting requirements. • Develop supporting operational routines and governance mechanisms to ensure consistent day-to-day operational effectiveness post go-live. • Support Service Delivery and Control Tower teams with product documentation, user guides, and SOP creation throughout all implementation phases. • Contribute to tollgate materials, business case development, and executive presentations supporting program governance reviews. Job Requirements EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analysis, Information Systems, or related field. Years Of Experience 5–8 years in supply chain consulting, logistics operations, or business analysis roles with a focus on process design and technology implementation. Experience preferred in supply chain management or warehouse management. Required Skills & Competencies • Strong process mapping and business analysis skills with demonstrated experience designing and documenting end-to-end supply chain workflows. • Proficiency in developing KPIs, SLA frameworks, and operational performance dashboards for logistics or supply chain environments. • Experience with TMS, visibility platforms, WMS, or analytics tools in a supply chain technology implementation context. • Excellent written communication skills with ability to produce high-quality SOPs, process documentation, and technical specifications. • Collaborative facilitation skills with the ability to drive cross-functional design consensus among technically diverse stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with BridgeNet platforms (Xonar, Smart Navigator) or comparable supply chain technology. • Background in oil and gas, energy, or complex industrial supply chain environments. • Direct S&OP experience or related functional support. • CBAP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent certification. Role Summary The Procurement Lead is a specialized resource supporting the BridgeNet 4PL program on transportation procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives, engaged to lead or support freight procurement events as they arise across the program's identified opportunities. This role brings expertise in carrier RFP/RFI management, rate benchmarking, negotiation support, and contract execution, with a focus on delivering direct cost savings through structured procurement strategy. The Procurement Lead works closely with the Supply Chain Engineering team and Client Logistics and Procurement stakeholders to unbundle freight from supplier pricing, establish direct carrier contracts, and build routing guide compliance frameworks that deliver cost reductions targets on specific lanes. Key Responsibilities • Lead and support transportation procurement sourcing events, including RFI/RFP preparation, tender management, carrier evaluation, and negotiation support across target lanes and modes. • Act as an extension and provide strategic support with Client transportation procurement functions. • Develop freight spend baselines and market benchmarks to inform procurement strategies, identify cost reduction opportunities, and establish target rate ranges for sourcing events. • Design and execute carrier direct contracting strategies for priority lanes, working to unbundle freight from supplier- inclusive pricing and establish transparent carrier rate cards. • Analyze vendor-incoterm mix, current service metrics, and mode/lane profiles to identify suitable candidates for direct carrier contracting and routing guide enforcement. • Collaborate with Client Legal and Procurement teams on contract terms, service level requirements, and data-sharing SLAs for new carrier agreements. • Develop routing guides and carrier selection frameworks, embedding approved rates and preferred carrier assignments into TMS/ERP workflows. • Track procurement savings realization monthly and expand carrier direct contracting to additional lanes and vendors as the program matures. • Support leverage of group purchasing organization structures for suppliers that cannot fully unbundle freight or transition incoterms. • Contribute to carrier performance scorecarding, providing procurement-perspective data for on-time performance, dwell, exceptions, and rate compliance. Job Requirements EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 7–10 years in transportation procurement, freight sourcing, or logistics commercial management with demonstrated experience leading carrier RFP/RFI events and rate negotiations. Required Skills & Competencies • Deep expertise in transportation procurement across ocean, air, road, and project cargo modes, with hands-on experience managing competitive RFP processes end-to-end. • Strong freight market knowledge and benchmarking capability across key global trade lanes relevant to Client's supply chain. • Proven negotiation skills with track record of achieving 15–25% freight cost reductions through structured direct carrier contracting programs. • Experience developing routing guides, compliance enforcement frameworks, and carrier performance scorecards within TMS or ERP environments. • Excellent stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills with comfort engaging carrier and client executives on rate and service terms. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in oil and gas, energy, or project cargo logistics procurement. • Familiarity with group purchasing organization (GPO) models and collaborative procurement frameworks. • CILT, APICS, or supply chain procurement certification.
