Job Title: Manager, Internal Communications Company: Prologis Title: Manager, Internal Communications Location: San Francisco, CA A day in the life The Manager, Internal Communications supports employee communications operations that increase engagement, build awareness of company initiatives, and strengthen culture across key internal channels. Reporting to the Director, Internal Communications, this role partners with global communications, IT, production, HR, and regional colleagues to execute timely and effective communications through email, digital signage, The Hub, town halls, and related platforms. The role manages communication operations, measurement, and technology-enabled execution, with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and continuous improvement. This role is based in Prologis’ San Francisco headquarters and is required to work in person a minimum of three days each week with the team. Key responsibilities include: Stage and publish communication drafts for emails, newsletters, intranet stories, and other internal channels while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Partner with global communications, IT, production, HR, and regional teams to improve the employee experience on The Hub and support high-priority internal communications. Coordinate technical and content execution for quarterly town halls, including Zoom meetings and webinars, in partnership with IT and the broader communications team. Track, analyze, and report quarterly and annual internal communications results, including survey data from platforms such as Qualtrics, to identify insights and recommendations. Manage digital signage content through Poppulo by coordinating updates, keeping information current, and partnering with the account manager as needed. Support crisis and urgent communications during natural disasters, public health issues, and other time-sensitive situations by reviewing plans and providing communications input. Manage internal communications operations, including the Corporate Communications email inbox, external award submissions, invoices, annual contracts, and related communications technology processes. Building blocks for success Required: 5+ years of relevant experience. Track record of managing internal communications operations. Experience using communications and collaboration platforms such as Qualtrics, Zoom, Wistia, Outlook, SharePoint, Trello, email platforms, and Poppulo. Ability to write, edit, and communicate clearly with internal audiences and cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to organize competing priorities, meet deadlines consistently, and maintain accuracy in detailed communications work. Ability to use data and reporting to evaluate communications performance and recommend improvements. Ability to travel up to 5% of the time. Ability to work in person at the San Francisco headquarters a minimum of three days each week. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Demonstrates willingness and capability to leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and speed. Exercises sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability for outcomes. Hiring Salary Range of: $118,000 - $146,000. This individual will be part of the Global Communications team and will partner closely with colleagues across Energy, Data Centers, Real Estate, Government Affairs, Legal, Marketing and other key functions. The ideal candidate brings strong media fundamentals, excellent writing skills, sound judgment and experience communicating about complex, technical and highly regulated industries. A deep understanding of how U.S. utility operations, regulation and grid interconnection processes work in practice is preferred. Finally, this person will bring intellectual curiosity, strong editorial instincts and a collaborative spirit and know how to work hard while keeping a sense of perspective (and humor!). Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong editorial judgment and command of AP style Ability to exercise sound judgment in high-visibility, sensitive situations. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).
