About this role As a Senior Software Engineer, you build, run, and evolve the systems that power our business end-to-end: framing problems, designing and shipping solutions, and keeping them healthy in production. You work across our stack, from backend services to customer-facing applications, and you bring strong judgment about what to build and what to leave alone. You partner with other engineers, domain leads, directors, and technical product managers. We are looking for someone who walks into ambiguity and leaves with a clear technical path, flags risks early, and raises the bar for the people around them. What you will do Own features end-to-end: framing, design, construction, testing, deployment, and production operations Develop and enhance APIs, backend services, and internal platforms Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems Create web applications and workflow tools that hold up in production Troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack, especially those that span service boundaries Anticipate failure modes and design for clarity, testability, and reversibility Improve our development infrastructure: CI/CD, environment management, and observability Raise the bar through code reviews, design input, and the standard your own work sets Translate technical reality into language product and leadership can act on Participate in on-call rotation and own production health for what you ship What you will bring 5+ years of software development experience, owning ambiguous problems and shipping work that lasts Strong experience building production APIs and integrating with external systems Deep expertise in at least one of C#, Go, or TypeScript Have written and shipped production code in at least one additional language, ideally another from our stack Working knowledge of React, or comparable modern frontend framework Experience with cloud services and modern cloud development practices (Azure preferred) Solid understanding of SQL databases and caching technologies (Redis preferred) You have a strong instinct for what not to build, and you make sound calls when priorities conflict You take on problems outside your expertise, in code you did not write You take ownership of more than your code: the systems, docs, and standards around it Other engineers route their hard problems through you You raise risk early, keep your manager informed, and admit when you do not know Enthusiasm for leveraging AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies Must have permission to work in the US on a permanent basis Ideally you’ll also have You work across backend and frontend, with meaningful production experience on both sides Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare or fintech Experience with GraphQL Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) Experience with B2B SaaS platforms and customer management systems Advanced DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and observability tooling What we have to offer The opportunity to grow alongside an early-stage company shaking up a big, old-fashioned industry Flexible time off, including 12 paid holidays 401k match plus 100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision premiums Company contribution to Health Savings Account Stock options Prescryptive is committed to fair pay practices. That means setting technical direction across teams, making architectural bets with lasting impact, and ensuring the organization focuses its energy on the problems that matter most. What you will do Elevate the technical judgment of engineers around you through design reviews, architectural guidance, and mentorship Troubleshoot and drive resolution of the hardest cross-system issues in our stack Participate in on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and rapid issue resolution Engage directly with product and executive stakeholders to assess feasibility, cost, and risk of strategic initiatives Drive architectural decisions and technical direction across multiple teams and systems Directly build and ship software that tackles the hardest, most ambiguous technical problems in our stack Set the engineering standard through your own code, design patterns, and technical approach Own cross-cutting concerns: scalability, reliability, security posture, and cloud cost efficiency Identify converging efforts across teams and consolidate before they become compounding tech debt Design and evolve system architectures for our B2B portals, collaboration tools, internal platforms, and customer-facing APIs Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions, technology bets, and system design tradeoffs with direct business impact What you will bring 10+ years of software development experience, having progressed from shipping great software to shaping how organizations approach building it Deep architectural experience designing systems that span multiple services, teams, or domains Exceptional hands-on engineering skills across the full stack, with the ability to go deep on the hardest problems in any part of the system Strong proficiency across multiple languages and comfortable ramping quickly on ones you haven't used before. Our stack includes Go, TypeScript, C#, and React. About this role We are looking for an ePrescribing Network Support Services Specialist to join a small, high-accountability team responsible for keeping Prescryptive’s ePrescribing network running reliably. This role ensures prescriptions move accurately, issues are resolved quickly, and customers are set up to succeed from day one. You will monitor network performance, manage alerts, resolve technical issues, and support customer onboarding, applying working knowledge of APIs, internet-based applications, and backend systems (e.g., SQL). You will partner closely with software vendors and internal teams to keep the network running smoothly and continuously improve how we operate. Support Network Operations & Reliability Monitor network health, message traffic, connections, and job queues using internal tools Support onboarding of pharmacies and prescribing platform partners Help ensure reliable delivery of digital prescriptions from EHRs to pharmacies Escalate issues to Engineering quickly and clearly Ensure Quality & Resolve Issues Validate incoming prescriptions, including PHI accuracy Identify and resolve issues before they impact customers Investigate root causes and partner across teams to meet SLAs Step in on reported issues and drive to resolution Manage Alerts & Improve Automation Monitor and respond to system alerts in real time Build and refine automated alerting to improve speed and reduce manual work Support Customers & Manage Cases Provide Tier 1 technical support; escalate when needed Manage cases end-to-end in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) with clear follow-through Support Customer Onboarding & Engagement Serve as a technical lead for customer integrations Guide setup, connectivity, and early operations Participate in onboarding and issue-resolution conversations with customers Train users and manage access to tools Communicate Clearly & Keep Documentation Tight Communicate outages, maintenance, and releases with clarity and urgency Keep support guides, knowledge base content, and training materials current and useful Drive Reporting & Continuous Improvement Deliver clear, consistent reporting and operational metrics Identify what’s not working and help improve it Partner with Product on priorities; support testing and rollout of fixes and enhancements Required skills, abilities and education Associate’s degree. Experience in application technical support, including managing client requests in high-volume, service-level-driven environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and confident decision-making. Proficiency in defining use cases, performing manual software testing, and participating in cross-functional testing with product and engineering teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels. Ability to create and maintain customer-facing documentation, such as knowledge base articles and training materials. Preferred skills, abilities and education Familiarity with XML data formatting and validation. Experience working with APIs, including understanding their technical components. Exposure to programming languages such as C++, Python, HTML, or CSS.
