As the HIVE Data Operations Analyst, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, data reconciliation, data quality, maintenance, and optimization of Platform HIVE-managed data environments, ensuring the smooth and reliable flow of data across analytics platforms. Leveraging your expertise in big data technologies, SQL, and workflow orchestration, you will coordinate a team responsible for monitoring batch jobs, resolving operational incidents, maintaining data reconciliation, checking for data completeness, data accuracy and coordinating with data management team members. You’ll liaise with engineering and analytics teams to troubleshoot complex issues, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous enhancements so that HIVE data assets consistently meet business and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day data operations and maintenance of HIVE-managed data environments Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation Support reporting and analytics needs Coordinate with engineering and analytics teams to troubleshoot issues Optimize HIVE performance including data partitioning and indexing Requirements 3+ years of experience in analytics and data operations Technical acumen in HIVE and SQL, including HiveQL and SQL Experience with HIVE performance optimization, data partitioning, and indexing Hands-on understanding of Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Spark Education/Certification Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience) Clearance Requirements Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Secret clearance is required.
