Lead enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives, managing program governance, vendor performance, and executive reporting. | Experienced in program governance, vendor oversight, financial tracking, and executive communication with strong skills in cloud/SaaS implementations and cross-functional leadership. | We are currently seeking a Director of Business Management Systems that will be responsible for establishing and leading enterprise governance, risk management, compliance oversight, and continuous improvement framework that ensures business system effectiveness, accountability, and sustainability across all functions. This role ensures standardized processes, effective system integration, regulatory and customer compliance, and alignment with organizational strategy. The Director partners with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve operational performance, mitigate risk, and ensure customer requirements are effectively embedded into business processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Establish and lead the enterprise BMS strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives, customer requirements, regulatory expectations, and long-term operational goals. • Own the governance, standardization, and continuous improvement of enterprise business processes, including policies, procedures, workflows, documentation standards, and process controls across all business functions. • Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide framework for standardized operating procedures, ensuring process ownership, change control, document control, effectiveness, and accountability are clearly defined. • Lead cross-functional alignment across Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, and other business functions to ensure business systems support enterprise performance and compliance. • Establish key performance indicators and management review processes to evaluate business system effectiveness, identify risks, drive corrective actions, and support executive decision-making. • Ensure business management systems comply with applicable regulatory, customer, industry, and internal requirements, including audit readiness, compliance tracking, risk mitigation, and corrective action oversight. • Drive enterprise process optimization and system integration initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce variation, strengthen controls, and support scalable business growth. • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and enhancement of business management technologies and platforms, ensuring they support process discipline, data integrity, reporting capability, and operational effectiveness. • Provide executive-level reporting on business system performance, risks, compliance status, audit results, corrective actions, and improvement priorities. • Develop and strengthen organizational capability through training, coaching, communication, and change management, ensuring consistent adoption and execution of business system requirements. • Manage department resources, budgets, priorities, vendor relationships, and project plans to ensure business management system initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact. • Lead internal and external audit readiness activities, ensuring gaps are identified, preventive actions are implemented, and sustainable compliance is maintained. • Serve as the enterprise process governance leader, ensuring business system changes are evaluated, approved, communicated, implemented, and sustained through formal controls. Education/Experience/Skills & Abilities • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Quality, Operations Management, Information Systems, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. • Leadership experience in business management systems, quality systems, operational excellence, process governance, enterprise systems, or related business functions. • Leadership experience, including leading cross-functional teams, managing direct reports, and influencing senior leaders across the organization. • Knowledge of applicable quality, regulatory, customer, and business compliance frameworks preferred, such as ISO/IATF standards, internal control systems, or customer-specific requirements. • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise-wide business management systems, process governance structures, and standardized operating procedures. • Strong knowledge of business process management, document control, change management, compliance systems, internal audits, corrective action processes, and management review practices. • Experience working in a manufacturing, automotive, or highly regulated business environment is strongly preferred. • Proven ability to translate business strategy into actionable system requirements, process improvements, governance models, and measurable performance outcomes. • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to present risks, performance trends, system gaps, and improvement plans to senior leadership. • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change, drive accountability, and influence stakeholders without direct authority. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data, metrics, and audit results to identify systemic issues and drive sustainable corrective actions. • Experience managing budgets, vendors, system implementations, project timelines, and enterprise-level improvement initiatives. • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive accountability across functions without direct reporting authority. Lead automotive interior programs from award through launch and production ensuring quality, cost, timing, and profitability. | 3-5 years automotive program management experience in Tier 1/2 supplier environment with OEM customer interaction and knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and launch processes. | Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to lead automotive interior programs from award through launch and production. This position serves as the primary liaison between the customer, internal cross-functional teams, and manufacturing operations to ensure successful execution of program objectives related to quality, cost, timing, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of automotive program management experience with direct OEM customer interaction and a proven track record of managing product launches in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier environment. Essential duties and responsibilities • Facilitate the PMT process by calling the PMT meetings and Gate review meetings and following up on issues before and after the PMT meeting’s; Ensure proper Plant personnel are informed and attend • Lead assigned customer programs • Maintain all PM schedules and customer documents as required. Use the database when appropriate • Translate customer program requirements into achievable program plans that satisfy both Piston Interiors and the customer.
