Perks And Benefits • Medical & Employer Paid: Dental and Vision • Parental Leave • 401k and Employer Match • Paid time off and holidays • Tuition reimbursement • Paid On the Job Training • Performance incentive bonuses • Community Volunteering • Talent Referral Bonus Program • Employee Centric Culture • 1st and 2nd shift opportunities • Air-conditioned work environment • Onsite Gym What You Will Do • Set up and operate automated vision machines to ensure product conformance. • Runs an integrated system consisting of a bagging machine interfaced with an automated inspection machine. • Bulk packs parts off of automated inspection machine manually and utilizing a box conveyor machine. • Loads automated inspection machines and moves product to the next operation. • Verify and loads label information into bagging machine, print box and bag label for product. • Optimizes bowl and in-line feeder settings to maximize productivity. • Utilizes run rate, defect rate, defect information and other parameters to make machine adjustments or communicate information to appropriate personnel. • Works with minimal supervision to independently perform the job of Automated Inspection Machine Operator in its entirety as assigned. • Participates in team meetings and works well with team members. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities to assist team in meeting goals related to quality, cost and delivery. • Operates weighing scale to determine weight per thousand or average piece weight. • Use computer program to obtain lot assignment sheet. • Performs minor routine maintenance, adjustments and cleans automated inspection machines. • Performs preventative maintenance of baggers. • Utilizes current production system to prioritize workload. • Utilizes power jack and manual jack to move product to proper location. • Read and understand written work instructions. • Logs on and off work orders. • Keeps work area organized and clean at all times. • Observes all safety regulations in all duties. • Performs other duties as required. Location Danboro WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • High school diploma or GED. • Good communication and basic math skills. • Familiarity and experience with reading prints and measuring parts. Physical Requirements • Visual acuity for detailed work. • Must be able to lift and transfer 35 pounds at waist height multiple times per hours. • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. from floor to waist. • Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. from floor to and above shoulder height. • Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift. Perks And Benefits • Medical, 401K, paid time off, tuition reimbursement • Paid, on the job training. • Performance incentive bonuses quarterly • Air-conditioned work environment • 1st and 2nd shift opportunities • Community volunteering • Onsite Gym What You Will Do • With direction and assistance from the trainer, mentor or set-up person, sets-up and operates cold heading and thread rolling machines. • Works from detailed Engineering drawings, process control documents, training manuals, current best practices and work instructions to produce quality parts. • Uses precision measuring devices including—but not limited to—micrometers, dial calipers, optical comparators, tri-roll gauges and various other gauges. • Uses shop support equipment as needed to prepare dies for use in cold heading and thread rolling machines. • With assistance troubleshoots machine malfunctions, replaces worn and broken tooling, and makes all machine adjustments necessary to produce parts within specified tolerances. • Obtains correct Job Packet(s) from Cold Heading Tool Crib area, which include routers, part drawings, specifications, and SPC trend charts. • Accesses correct bill of materials from a computer located on the shop floor. Obtains correct machine tooling as called for on bill of materials. • Installs and removes tooling from machines using wrenches and other types of hand tools. • Removes old wire stock from header, as needed, and draws new coiled wire using an in-line wire drawer. • Detects and reports faulty machine operation, defective material and equipment, drawing discrepancies and other unusual conditions to set-up person or team leader. • Expected to maintain proper machine oil-levels on a daily basis. • Maintains workplace area in a neat and orderly condition on a daily basis. • Completes time, production, and quality reports as necessary. • Communicates with operators from other shifts to exchange information pertinent to the current work on a daily basis. • Observes all safety regulations in all duties. • Performs other duties as required. Location Danboro Requirements WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: • High school diploma or GED. • Basic computer skills. • Mechanical Ability. • Use of micrometers, calipers, comparators, gages, hand tools, etc. • Read and understand blueprints. Physical Requirements • Must be able to lift approximately 40 lbs. • Must be able to stand approximately 8-10 hrs./day. • Able to bend, twist, and squat in sometimes in various positions for prolonged periods of time while exerting force (pushing or pulling) on hand tools used to adjust machine. • Visual acuity for detailed work. • Manual dexterity.
