Prioritize product backlog and coordinate sprints to maximize business and customer value, managing payment-related product capabilities. | Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years as a Product Owner in software, preferably in extended warranty, with Agile and Jira proficiency. | What You’ll Do This role will be responsible for setting, prioritizing and accepting the work generated by a team in order to ensure the most valuable and proper functionality of the product. This role will gather feature requests, schedule releases and coordinate Sprints. You will identify user needs, help a customer understand the product’s business value and work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases. In this role, you will: Serve as the voice of the client and advocate for customer needs throughout the product lifecycle. Work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze business needs and align the product roadmap with strategic goals. Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring work focuses on initiatives that maximize customer and business value. Assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize Epics, Features, and User Stories. Act as the primary point of contact for functional and business questions related to the product. Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and operational requirements, translating those needs into product enhancements. Own payment-related product capabilities, including payment processing, billing, remittances, refunds, reconciliation, and reporting. Define and maintain requirements for payment workflows, integrations, and financial controls while ensuring alignment with business, compliance, and operational needs. Translate business requirements into documented solutions, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. Collaborate with Product Management, Development, QA, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality product enhancements. Facilitate solution definition and design with business and development stakeholders. Work closely with the Scrum Master and Development team throughout the Sprint cycle to ensure a clear understanding of priorities and requirements. Participate in backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Support release planning, user acceptance testing, production support, and resolution of product-related issues. Support the development of user documentation, training materials, and customer enablement resources. What You’ll Need to Join Our Team Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT or related field or equivalent work experience. 2-5 years prior experience in a Product Owner or related role. Previously employed at a software company. Software Development Lifecycle exposure. Experience in the Extended Warranty or Service Contract industry. Ticketing software like Jira, Confluence, Service Bench, etc. Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests. Must have technical knowledge and understanding. Experience following Agile methodologies. This role will own installations of TeamCity and Octopus along with the existing build and deployment pipelines. This role will be responsible for enhancing the existing pipelines and creating new pipelines in Azure DevOps for new applications. In this role, you will: Oversee the process of releasing PCMI software to our clients. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in building and delivering software and DevOps using best practices. Troubleshoot issues that occur during the build/deployment process. Design, implement, and manage automated processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using using Azure DevOps, TeamCity and Octopus DeployCreate infrastructure-as-code to create repeatable and reliable infrastructure change processes. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to implement DevOps best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. Implement and manage observability and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance. Support efforts to improve system security and compliance. Document processes and procedures for internal use. What You’ll Need to Join Our Team Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. 5+ years prior experience in a Release Engineer/DevOps Engineer role. Knowledge of technologies: Azure DevOps, Bicep, Terraform, TeamCity, Octopus, PowerShell, .NET , .NET Framework, MSSQL; OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Equivalent observability stack. Strong understanding of GIT version control system. Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, specifically TeamCity and Octopus Deploy. Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure. Experience with Windows Server administration. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
