Oversee day-to-day commercial property operations, leasing, maintenance, tenant relations, vendor contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance. | Experienced property manager with legal knowledge, proficiency in property management software, strong customer service, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. | Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee our portfolio of Commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management. The role requires exceptional leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of property leasing and maintenance. Duties • Manage day-to-day operations of properties, ensuring high standards of service and maintenance. • Oversee property leasing processes, including marketing strategies to attract new tenants and upselling available units. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements. • Utilize property management software App Folio • Handle tenant relations, addressing concerns and conflicts with effective conflict management strategies. • Coordinate property maintenance activities and facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and operational. • Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms for property services. • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, communications, and administrative tasks related to property management. • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, fostering positive relationships to enhance tenant retention. Experience • Proven experience in property management or real estate administration is required • Strong legal administrative experience related to landlord-tenant law is essential. • Proficiency in using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly desirable. • Background in sales or customer service roles will be beneficial for tenant relations and upselling initiatives. • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an asset. • Excellent phone etiquette, negotiation skills, and conflict resolution abilities are necessary for success in this role.
