In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies to engage, retain, and nurture our customer base. You will oversee the email and SMS channels, driving the planning, creation, and execution of campaigns that deepen customer relationships and enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will leverage customer insights and data to create personalized, impactful marketing initiatives that enhance the customer experience and increase lifetime value. As a key player in the marketing team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of lifecycle marketing programs that align with Parachute's brand values and business goals. Reports to: Director, Growth Marketing Location: Los Angeles, Culver City 4x a week What You'll Do: Customer Retention Strategy: • Develop and implement comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies aimed at increasing customer retention and loyalty. • Leverage data and customer insights to segment audiences and create personalized, targeted campaigns that resonate with our customers. • Plan and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns, including welcome series, win-back programs, and post-purchase engagement, to drive customer retention and lifetime value. Email and SMS Channel Management: • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of email and SMS marketing campaigns. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., creative, merch, analytics) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of email and SMS communications. • Create briefs for email campaigns, providing clear direction on content, design, and messaging to align with channel goals. • Optimize email and SMS campaigns through testing, segmentation, and personalization to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. • Ensure all email and SMS campaigns are in compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CCPA, CASL). Performance Analysis and Optimization: • Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. • Utilize data-driven insights to refine and enhance lifecycle marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually elevate our lifecycle marketing efforts. Collaboration and Leadership: • Partner closely with the creative, merch, and data teams to align lifecycle marketing initiatives with broader marketing and business goals. • Act as a champion for the customer within the organization, advocating for initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive retention. What you'll do: Sales + Service • Follows direction of Store Manager in upholding daily operations of the store and achievement of Quarterly store KPI's. Contributes to achievement of store KPI's and ensures performance standards are met. Develops a thorough understanding of products and services. Stays updated on new arrivals, features, benefits and pricing. • Ensures the best possible customer experience, in line with Parachute's Brand and CX strategy. • Effectively communicates information to customers while modeling HOME selling skills; understands concept and why behind the methodology, uses available resources and knowledge to bring the brand experience to life. • Participates in trade and community events and activations in local markets. • Resolves customer concerns or issues to a positive outcome by determining the problem, taking initiative to identify and resolve, and taking partnership with Store Manager or other leader when needed. • Builds loyalty through in-store experience using CRM data capture, endless aisle and other omni-channel solutions. Utilize the platform to create customer connections, follow up and manage customer relationships. • Utilizes design service tools as an extension of our customer experience;. Operations • Responsible for ensuring accurate timekeeping. Ensures that meal and break procedure is consistently followed. Regularly review all communications/messages/tasks communicated to the store team as appropriate. • Knowledgeable POS (point of sale) and CRM (customer relationship management) systems used to drive the business. • Supports inventory operational excellence: accurate completion of returns, transfers, SFS, BOPIS and donations. Maintains accurate recordkeeping following established procedures. Adheres to established inventory operations requirements, including cycle counts, transfers, inventory prep and TO's. • Maintains high standards of maintenance and organization of the stock room / BOH area, including organization, safety, and inventory operations. • Ensures any maintenance needs are communicated in a timely manner. Utilizes Retail Support Ticket process for all business and operational needs. Submits tickets in a timely manner. Visual Merchandising • In partnership with the Store Manager, follows the Parachute Visual Merchandising strategy. Maintains floor presentation. Ensures brand integrity is reflected to the customer through enhancements in presentation, product & people. • Support store in the execution of store directives and day to day merchandising needs, as directed by store leadership. People + Culture • Share observations with Store Manager as it relates to team, business and community during touchbases and through daily and weekly business recaps. • Holds self accountable to responsibilities as based on the role's job description and in compliance with all policies and procedures • Completes training within assigned timeframes, actively learns and follows through on completion and application of learning objectives. • Refer candidates for open positions and be engaged in growing and supporting the talent pipeline. Other duties as assigned. Duties, tasks and responsibilities may change as directed or as needed by the business. What you need to have: • Must be available to work a minimum of one weekend day per week, and work during the holiday season. • Retail sales, showroom or customer service experience is preferred. • Education - High School diploma or equivalent is required • Experience using point of sale systems, inventory management software, scanners, barcode labels and shipping programs is preferred • Self motivated, collaborative, positive team player with a can-do attitude and growth mindset required! • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis, and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally • Frequently physically active, including standing, walking, reaching and grasping for long periods of time.
