Analyze and manage electronic medical records data to support clinical and organizational needs. | Requires 5 years EMR software experience, degree in related field, expertise in EMR customization, and ability to train and support staff. | 1.0 FTE Thunder Bay Site One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services. We are currently seeking 1 FTE Data Analyst - Electronic Medical Records who will be an expert in EMR healthcare software programs and utilizes a collaborative approach to ensure high quality data entry and extraction from electronic medical records charting. The Data Analyst will utilize change management skills to coach and support staff, develop work flows, and identify process improvements and electronic templates for such needs. The position has a competitive salary, the Health Care of Ontario’s Pension Plan and an excellent group health benefits package. The salary range for this position is $67,312 to $81,495 per year. We do not use AI to screen resumes. QUALIFICATIONS: • Degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Services, Business Administration or in a Regulated Health Profession. • Five years’ experience with electronic medical systems. • Expertise in Electronic Medical Records software applications with capacity to customize for proper client data collection. • Supports Privacy Officer with privacy breach investigations. • Develop and optimize clinical tools in the Electronic Medical Record System (PS Suite) for use by the inter-professional care team members. • Contribute to NorWest CHCs activities to collect, analyze and report on data within the Electronic Medical Record System. • Provide training activities for PSS super users in order to enhance client data collection and build capacity across the NorWest CHCs. • Contribute to support PSS maintenance through the ticketing system. • Support organizational standards as per accreditation policies and practices. • Work cross-functionally with NorWest CHC staff, managers and collaborators to promote alignment and coordination of priority work streams. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field (equivalent education/experience considered). • 3–5 years of senior-level HR experience in a unionized setting, preferably in health care or the non-profit sector. • CHRL designation (or working toward completion) and membership in the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario. • Proven expertise in collective bargaining, grievance/arbitration processes, and employment/labour law. • Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and related legislation. • Experience in talent acquisition, disability management, payroll, and HRIS systems. • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle.
