Tops Markets is accepting applications for current and future Selector openings A Selector works individually selecting full case grocery/perishable/frozen items from pick slots. The selector fits these items on a pallet, plastic wraps the bundles, completed pallets, and stages for loading. A voice system is used to direct generalists to the locations where each case of product will be picked. Description of Work Environment: Temperature of Grocery warehouses can range from 50° to 80° Fahrenheit, a Perishable warehouse can range from 28° to 60° Fahrenheit, and a Freezer warehouse can range from -20° to -10° Fahrenheit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A Generalist Trainee will be provided with instruction, training and safety information to be able to perform the following: • Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety standards. • Listen to the voice system to find individual items within warehouse • Remove full case(s) of product from storage rack and place on pallet • Maneuver pallet on an electric pallet jack until full or order is complete • Ensure item pick accuracy and safety of product to prevent damage • Inform supervisor of any discrepancies in case quantity and/or product description • Manually wrap the pallet by circling load with roll of plastic wrap until secure • Load bundles onto trucks with the pallet jack • Operate heavy equipment • Other duties may be assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Ability to work weekends -varying shifts available • Constant- standing, walking, driving, carrying, twisting, bending, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Hook up tractor and trailer. • Perform pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip inspections. • Completely and accurately fill out all company and government required paperwork (ex. Assist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications under pharmacist supervision, manage customer data, counsel patients, and support pharmacy operations. | Must be at least 18 years old with basic reading, writing, math, computer, and communication skills. | Salary: $15.00- $23.50 SUMMARY Pharmacy Technician assists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. They also manage customer data, provide medication counseling, support pharmacy operations, and contribute to achieving financial and operational goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Complies with all applicable federal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies. • Prepares and dispenses prescription medications, all supervised by the Pharmacist. • Follow directions from the pharmacist on duty and pharmacy manager. • Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records, complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy. • Counsel’s patients and medical providers regarding the nature and use of drugs, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects. • Fulfill general housekeeping duties. • Achievement of financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense. • Maintain security of all controlled substances MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Must be at least 18 years of age.
