Build .NET Core Web APIs integrating complex insurance systems with a focus on flood insurance risk analytics and ensure API security and performance. | 10+ years C#/.NET Core experience with strong skills in ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, SQL, RESTful services, data transformation, authentication, and CI/CD pipelines, plus insurance domain knowledge. | Key Responsibilities • The task is to build .NET Core Web APIs for the flood insurance product. Focus is integrating with 3 of their insurance systems – • System 1- dealing with actuarial/rating APIs, • System 2- Dealing with internal catastrophe risk modelling, and • System 3- Dealing with flood risk analytics. Insurance knowledge is must—non-savvy developers will struggle with data mappings and flood-specific functionalities like risk pricing, exposure analysis, and parametric triggers. • Handle complex integrations for catastrophe footprints, vulnerability functions, and financial loss estimates in P&C flood insurance. • Ensure API security, performance, and testing in Agile environment with rapid iterations. Required Skills • 10+ years C#/.NET Core expertise, including ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework, SQL, and RESTful services. • Strong data transformation (JSON/XML), authentication (OAuth/JWT), and CI/CD pipelines.
