This position is responsible for driving revenue across all Natural Retreats locations, maximizing the potential yield on a per-home basis, resulting in maximum profitability for both Natural Retreats and homeowners. The key focus of the Senior Revenue Manager will be active management of assigned personnel, and collaboration with other members of the department to develop and implement long and short-term strategies that align with the company’s overall business strategy and direction. The Senior Manager develops and coaches leaders and staff, promoting engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Through effective communication and oversight, the Senior Manager ensures day-to-day operations run efficiently while meeting quality, service, and performance standards. Daily management of rates and pricing operations, procedures, and best practices will include tasks such as providing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting; conducting regular and ad hoc rate and/or availability shops and thorough analysis; onboarding new homes and retreats in property management system; performing competitive benchmark studies; conducting regular Revenue Calls; and keeping abreast of market trends. To be considered for this remote work arrangement, applicants must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, or Virginia. COMPENSATION: $90,000 - $105,000. Final compensation will be commensurate upon experience. Coordinate with VP of RM and Revenue Managers to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department. Create and develop pricing strategies on a destination and property level. Complete 90 day forecast on a monthly basis and track progress against forecast weekly. Troubleshoot property management system issues related to rates, restrictions, and inventory. In conjunction with marketing, create needed promotions and discount codes. Implement and manage fee structures for all homes. Conduct or assign data-gathering portion of ad hoc rate audits. Conduct or assign scheduled and ad hoc availability and rate shops. Conduct or assign day-to-day yield operations and monitor market movement to inform necessary pricing strategy adjustments. Perform competitive benchmark studies and keep abreast of market trends. Ensure pricing is available on a rolling 18-month period for the portfolio. Assess, analyze, and price group business strategies where applicable. Work collaboratively with all departments. Apply industry best practices including competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market modeling, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management, inventory availability by channel, pricing control, and new pricing concepts. Evaluate performance of distribution partners and periodically review contract agreements. The Vice President of Revenue Management (VPRM) provides strategic leadership and direction to department Directors and Senior Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and consistent execution across teams. Aligning the strategic direction of the Revenue Management department with the company’s broader business objectives, the VPRM ensures that revenue strategies are clearly communicated, consistently implemented, and continuously optimized through the use of effective tools, technologies, and best practices. This role is responsible for driving revenue performance across all Natural Retreats locations, maximizing the potential yield on a per-home basis. The VPRM leads the day-to-day and long-term execution of pricing and yield strategies, oversees assigned personnel, facilitates regular revenue calls, monitors market trends, and supports cross-functional collaboration. Educate and support General Managers and Property Managers on RM strategies to support homeowner conversations; participate directly in owner discussions as needed. Assist RM personnel with any/all hands on tasks as necessary to hit targets and/or achieve goals as set by department or company at large. Ensure effective use of the property management system so that rates and restrictions are accurately maintained across all distribution channels. Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities. Foster and champion a data-driven decision-making culture. Deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc revenue reporting as required.
