Entrenue complements this with a highly curated, value-driven approach and a second major warehouse and office hub in Tempe, Arizona, expanding our reach and service levels. Position Overview A highly organized, hands-on Product & Project Manager is sought to help drive consumer product initiatives from concept through production, packaging, import coordination, and launch. This role is intended for someone with a true project management mindset who does more than delegate, stays deeply involved in execution, keeps initiatives moving, and communicates effectively with both internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate has experience working with product manufacturing, product import, and product compliance, particularly with small electronics and other consumer products manufactured in China. This person should be comfortable managing details, following through on deliverables, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and helping solve day-to-day issues that arise throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Manage projects from product concept through production, packaging, import coordination, and launch. • Keep projects on track by organizing timelines, following up on deliverables, maintaining documentation, and proactively identifying issues before they slow progress. • Coordinate and communicate with internal team members and external vendors to ensure alignment across product development, packaging, sourcing, logistics, marketing, and finance. • Work closely with overseas manufacturers, particularly vendors in China, to support production schedules, problem-solving, and execution. • Support product compliance efforts, including coordination related to labeling, testing, documentation, certifications, and other applicable requirements for consumer products. • Coordinate packaging development with marketing team, graphic and packaging designers, purchasing and supply chain personnel, web or copy managers, and accounting team member • Assist with packaging projects for consumer, health and wellness, and beauty-oriented products intended for retail display environments. • Help oversee packaging execution, including understanding the basics of box structure, printing, materials, assembly, and retail presentation/merchandising. • Coordinate with freight forwarders and support international shipping logistics, including shipment scheduling, vendor coordination, consolidation of goods when applicable, and general import process follow-through. Qualifications • Proven project management experience with a strong reputation for organization, follow-up, and execution. • Experience in product manufacturing, product import, and/or product compliance. • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with project management platforms and tools. • Experience working with consumer products, preferably including small electronics, health and wellness products, beauty products, or similar categories. • Experience working with products manufactured in China and coordinating with international vendors. • Ability to manage communication and workflow across multiple departments and outside partners. • Working knowledge of packaging development and retail packaging processes, including print production, box development, and assembly coordination. • Hands-on approach with the willingness to do the organizational and communication work required to keep projects moving. • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders and understanding import logistics, shipment consolidation, and international shipping processes is a strong plus. • Experience in wholesale, business-to-business sales, and/or selling into food, drug, and mass retail channels is strongly preferred. • Familiarity with direct-to-consumer e-commerce is a plus. • Four-year degree preferred. • Must be located in or near the Detroit, Michigan area and willing to commute to the office five days per week. Work Environment • This role is primarily on-site to support training, collaboration, and team integration. A flexible work environment is available, and limited remote work may be considered for the right individual after an initial period of training, demonstrated performance, and team development. Compensation & Benefits • A competitive compensation package is offered based on experience, along with bonus potential based on performance.
