Your Tasks • Lead Lean Supply Chain Stream in restructuring and turnaround projects: Provide focused leadership with strategic directions and expertise to enable lean supply chain operations and continuous improvement • Deploy the Turnaround Lean Approach for Supply Chain, define roadmaps, optimize processes, organization, and systems to improve performance across the supply chain (service level, cost and cash) • Engage local teams, monitor action plan execution, lead breakthrough initiatives and workshops and provide guidance and training • Identify benchmarks, enforce fundamentals, deploy best practices and enable synergies • Support the M&A-Team in due diligence through expert assessment, analysis and recommendations Your Profile • Successfully completed a degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering or similar with outstanding results • At least 6 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (manufacturing or services, corporate or consulting background), with exposure to lean management principles • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands‑on approach • Subject matter expertise in one or several of the key areas of the supply chain (S&OP, production and material planning, inventory management, process flow, warehousing, transportation, etc.) • Business fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate in a well‑structured and concise manner • Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment What Mutares offers • Work in a highly motivated, international, committed, and agile team that enjoys working together • Exciting work environment with varied challenges, strategic influence, and tasks for continuous personal and professional development • Flat hierarchies, fast decision‑making processes, and room for your own ideas • Regular team events and off‑sites #J-18808-Ljbffr

As we continue to grow and broaden our footprint, we are expanding our Operations Team in the greater Chicago area. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in Turnaround Management Office within the restructuring sector - someone who embraces continuous improvement and brings an entrepreneurial mindset. This role involves on-site work at portfolio companies located across US territory. Your Tasks: • Supporting our portfolio companies in their turnaround journey, by working closely with the management board and the Mutares team • Establishing a business plan incl. a turnaround concept and driving the implementation together with the Operations team and the portfolio company, including the management of different stakeholders • Assessment of strategic decisions (e.g. Insourcing/Outsourcing) together with the local teams and the Mutares team • Supporting the acquisition and integration process of add on acquisitions • Establishing the management governance and coherent tracking and reporting within the portfolio company Your Profile: • Successfully completed a degree in the field of economics, engineering, science or similar with outstanding results • At least 7 years working experience in relevant fields and in transformations, restructuring or turnaround situations • Structured, pragmatic and hands-on approach to solving problems and driving impact combined with an entrepreneurial and team mindset • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate and manage change effectively • Experience in leading cross-functional teams in complex situations with strong commitment and motivation • Business fluency in English with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner another language is a plus • Proficiency with the MS-Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint) • Willingness to travel 4 days per week (typ.
