What You’ll Do: We are seeking an Ecommerce Site Merchandising Specialist for a three (3) to four (4) month temporary leave coverage assignment. This position supports the Direct to Consumer team by taking responsibility for the daily operations involved in maintaining the Munchkin brand ecommerce site (munchkin.com). This role will also assist in the execution of the merchandising strategy for Munchkin.com and work cross-functionally with other teams to initiate and provide support on projects that impact our rapidly growing DTC business. * Maintain and update products on munchkin.com, ensuring that products are correctly merchandised consistent with brand standards, customer input, market trends and business strategy * Process and upload website assets (creative, copy, product imagery, pricing, promotions, etc.) to munchkin.com and complete QA process before pushing to live website * Monitor munchkin.com inventory to maintain stock availability and take responsibility for inventory management processes * Plan brand-building, category-optimized site content for new and existing products or campaigns, aligning with cross-functional partners. Provide business inputs and context to creative teams for execution * Partner with Marketing, Brand Design, Planning and Operations teams to approve content to go live on the website, performing quality assurance tasks and troubleshooting where applicable * Support the continual maintenance and updating of website design, navigation, product pages, category pages, internal search, cross-sell, and more * Work with the Customer Satisfaction Team in monitoring reviews and addressing inquiries related to orders and products * Provide administrative support for the E-Commerce team as needed * Participate in weekly team meetings with cross-functional partners to recap business results and make recommendations to optimize site experience based on site metrics and industry best practices * Other duties may be assigned Bring It! * BA or BS degree * Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities; able to organize, multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, project management tool experience is a plus * Demonstrate strong logical analysis and problem-solving skills * Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Experience utilizing analytics tools to make data driven decisions is a plus * Experience with Shopify Hydrogen, WordPress, Figma, or Photoshop is beneficial * Team-oriented with ability to productively interact with team members and partners across functions and levels and provide open and clear communication * Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required * Positive and proactive; eager to grow, learn and own results We Got You Covered! Hourly Rate: $35.00 This is a temporary assignment offering an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour. The position is designated as a maternity leave coverage role and is expected to last approximately three to four months. You will be legally employed through a staffing agency as the employer of record. Lead product categories by translating insights into product concepts and marketing plans, managing product launches, and monitoring sales to drive profitability. | 2-4 years brand management experience, bachelor's degree, strong analytical and creative skills, and ability to lead cross-functional teams. | Position Summary: As leader of one of Munchkin’s core categories, this position is responsible for identifying consumer and retailer trends and insights and then translating those insights into new product concepts and marketing plans to support annual and long-term sales, market share, and profit goals. The position works closely with all departments within the organization and works on several projects simultaneously. Essential Responsibilities: * Be the expert - know your categories, products, competitors, distribution and retail sets * Lead new product launches from conception through execution (pricing, positioning, packaging, etc.), working collaboratively cross-functionally with Product Development, Costing, Operations and Sales, Social Media and Ecommerce team * Lead cross-functional teams to launch product innovation and renovations with speed and agility. * Conduct category-specific analyses (e.g., Feeding, Bath, Nursery, etc.) and recommend new products and features to fill portfolio opportunities * Closely monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity * Monitor category performance across eCommerce and Brick and Mortar retailers, identifying ways to grow share, improve set performance, drive reviews or fill gaps * Manage complex projects, leading cross functional teams on projects such as new product development, marketing plans, focus groups and more * Assist with preparation of annual operating plans and marketing budget. * Assist in marketing projects to end consumers, potentially including ad development, media planning, digital marketing, loyalty initiatives, social media programs, etc. * Analyze the business utilizing quantitative/qualitative data, demonstrating strong command of key growth and share drivers * Present market analysis and actionable recommendations to grow sales and profitability * Other duties as may be assigned Job Skills and Requirements: * 2-4 years brand managment marketing experience (consumer packaged goods industry is a plus) * BS/BA degree, MBA preferred * Experience leading cross-functional teams * Strong communication / writing skills * Proven history of being both creative and analytical in prior roles * Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and be resourceful, creative, detail oriented
