The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing and maintaining detailed financial schedules, managing revenue recognition processes, and supporting the development and maintenance of financial reporting systems. This role partners closely with senior management, the Global Marketing Partnerships team, and Accounting to ensure accurate financial insights, effective decision-making, and timely, reliable reporting. What will you do? Prepare and maintain detailed financial schedules for individual deals, including revenue and expense projections and summary analysis for senior management. Oversee revenue recognition by reviewing contracts, P&Ls, and rate cards, and developing detailed schedules to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Provide ongoing financial support post-deal execution, including tracking unearned revenue and reconciling fulfillment costs for marketing partnership agreements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tracking of financial performance. Support the annual budget, monthly forecasts, long-range planning, and business reviews by delivering accurate financial data and updating executive presentations for the CFO and senior leadership. Partner with Accounting during the month-end close process to ensure accurate reporting and resolve discrepancies between forecasts and actuals. Assist in the development and maintenance of Marketing Partnerships reporting, including collaboration with Business Intelligence on Salesforce integration efforts. Maintain and optimize financial planning systems (e.g., Hyperion), ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as needed. What do you need to succeed? The VIP Event Specialist supports VIP and Celebrity functions in our venues (Madison Square Garden, The Theater, Beacon Theater and Radio City Music Hall, among others), as well as company events that take place offsite throughout the year to provide top-tier guest experiences. This position is for a self-starter who can multi-task and maintain close attention to detail in the lead-up to events, while also providing exceptional experiences to our guests during events. The VIP Specialist will benefit from enhanced hospitality and event training, along with development opportunities in the areas of Company Events, VIP Hospitality and Celebrity Relations. This position is part-time and scheduled on an event-driven basis. What will you do? • Prep and execution for a variety of events, including pre-event organization and set-up of elements (gifting, décor, guest lists, etc.); on-site assistance during events for ingress/egress, hospitality and activations; and post-event wrap-up. • Create positive and memorable guest experiences during sporting, entertainment, family and corporate events • Execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment What do you need to succeed? • Two years of experience in a hospitality or events • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient individual with great interpersonal skills • Skilled at working collaboratively and in a team environment • Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts and handle customer situations in a timely and discreet manner befitting a VIP environment • Manage heavy volume of customer interaction and multi-task in a highly visible environment • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, and transport/handle boxes containing event elements Special Requirements • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, mostly nights and weekends with some holidays required • Reachable by email on nights and weekends • Availability to travel as needed Pay Range $26-$26 USD At MSG, we recognize the importance of upskilling employees' talents and strengths so they can drive their careers forward.
