Areas of focus will include web application firewalls, zero trust network access, and internet access controls. Project Scope: Complex projects or multiple projects of moderate complexity with project budgets up to $25M involving multiple sites or up to 10 interdependent work tracks. Responsibilities • Lead the web application firewall engineering service for the health system. Design and implement web application firewalls for clinical, operational, research and academic systems. • Participate in the design, deployment and support of web proxy, network segmentation, or secure remote access solutions. • Participates in integrated systems planning and recommends alternative technologies that will enhance current or anticipated information systems that support overall business goals. • Participates and/or leads the review and design concepts for new systems and develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation. • Coordinates the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost, service and benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions. • Plans, coordinates and conducts the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information. • Independently initiates, identifies and coordinates the analysis of complex client needs in project areas such as new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment. • Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost-effective solutions that support client business processes, functional requirements and resource costs, including evaluation of existing applications and alternative uses of technology. • Advises clients on the consequences of actions; communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks. Jointly develops risk assessment of plan with client and provides ongoing communication. • Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; Masters degree preferred • Ten years of related experience, In -depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility; healthcare technology experience preferred. • Experience with web application firewalls is required. Experience with Akamai Web Application firewalls or other offerings including content distribution networks (CDN), domain name system (DNS), distributed denial of service (DDoS), is recommended. • Experience with network segmentation or zero trust network architectures required. Experience with Cisco ISE, Zscaler ZPA, or Guardicore is recommended. • Experience with secure internet or web proxy solutions is required. This role ensures full-stack visibility across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and end‑user experiences. The administrator partners with IT Operations, Application teams, Infrastructure, Network, and DevOps groups to enable proactive monitoring, performance analytics, and automated issue detection Responsibilities • Manage the end‑to‑end administration of the Dynatrace SaaS/Managed environment, including tenant management, security settings, tagging, and configuration policies. • Deploy, upgrade, and maintain OneAgent, ActiveGate, and related components across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. • Maintain governance over dashboards, alerts, maintenance windows, management zones, and role‑based access controls (RBAC). • Define and maintain consistent tagging strategies to support service mapping, ownership visibility, and automated root‑cause detection. • Develop and maintain high‑value dashboards for technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders. • Provide monthly/quarterly observability reports covering performance trends, risks, capacity insights, and optimization opportunities. • Distill complex technical findings into clear executive‑friendly communication. • Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
