The Line Service Professional plays a vital role to our daily operations and will provide an elite level of customer service to crew and passengers on the ground by fueling and positioning aircraft, assisting with luggage and effectively communicating on the radio with customer service representatives. Responsibilities and Duties of the Line Service Professional • Greet passengers and crewmembers upon arrival • Coordinate with coworkers, clients and vendors to provide ground services for general aviation aircraft, such as fueling, lavatory, ground power and potable water services, delivering catering. • Marshalling, towing and positioning aircraft on the ramp and in hangars. • Fuel movement- quality control, disposal, and paperwork • Daily check and upkeep of crew cars and vehicles • Maintain safe, clean and secure ramps and operations • Drive a shuttle vehicle with passengers • Monthly crew meetings • Annual re-current training Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery. Objective The Parts & Procurement Specialist is responsible for monitoring inventory quantities and preparing purchase orders and receiving of aircraft maintenance parts, equipment and supplies in support of the 145 repair station. Responsibilities And Duties • Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests. • Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs and ordering additional materials when necessary. • Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations. • Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. Review orders to verify accuracy. • Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files, reports and price lists. • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers. • Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts. • Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications. • Work closely with the accounting team to approve and submit invoices for payment. • Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered. • Maintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendors. • Monitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposes.
