Manage corporate philanthropy reporting and processes focusing on grants, scholarships, sponsorships, and financial literacy programs. | Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years nonprofit/philanthropy experience and proficiency in database management and professional writing. | Overview This individual plays a key role in the reporting and process management for Corporate Philanthropy objectives across Middlesex Savings Bank and its Charitable Foundation, with specific focus on sponsorships, scholarships, financial literacy, and grant program support. Along with the Director of Corporate Philanthropy, the Corporate Philanthropy Program Manager handles a portfolio of grants aligned with the Bank and Foundation's priorities including grant evaluation, budget and program goals. The Corporate Philanthropy Program Manager works closely with the Director of Corporate Philanthropy to ensure consistent processes, accurate reporting, and effective systems utilization. The role is responsible for helping to optimize grantmaking, develop dashboards and reporting structures, and create processes that enhance efficiency and visibility of impact. Responsibilities Grant Program: Contribute to internal assessment of grant performance and alignment with Foundation strategy Serve as first point of contact for grant and charitable inquiries, including sponsorships Primary relationship owner of the grant database, Blackbaud. Create reports and streamline processes between various programs, with a strong ability in grant analysis and reporting. Prepare meeting materials, review grant proposals, and provide overall support to the Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Foundation board Design surveys and improve data collection from grantees Develop and facilitate virtual informational sessions for prospective applicants Coordinate feedback meetings for unsuccessful applicants Support grantee partners in timely completion of reporting requirements Scholarship Program: Oversee the scholarship program with area high schools and act as primary liaison with financial partner who facilitates payout of scholarship funds Maintain relationships with scholarship administrators and guidance departments Act as point person for all inquiries from scholarship recipients Sponsorship Program: Review and assess incoming sponsorship opportunities Ensure timely coordination of payment, communication and marketing support for all sponsorships Develop and maintain effective reporting in the Blackbaud database Provide coordination and support for community events Financial Literacy: Serve as the primary point-of-contact for Money Matters, the Bank’s financial literacy program Develop a strategy to proactively offer the financial literacy program to community nonprofits, schools, and/or other groups Develop engaging and informative financial literacy content, and ensure proper internal review of all material Coordinate with Marketing team to effectively brand and promote the program Other: Connect with nonprofits and Foundations through events, workshops, and conferences Work with internal teams to share relevant Board and volunteer opportunities Other administrative tasks as required to support Corporate Philanthropy and Foundation initiatives Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree is required Work Experience 3-5 years of work-related experience in the nonprofit, philanthropy, or community relations sectors is preferred Additional Requirements Strong proficiency with database management systems, in particular BlackBaud or similar High degree of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable working as a self-starter and in a team environment Ability to represent the Bank in public and community forums Experience with grants and/or nonprofit program development, a plus Ability to write professionally and synthesize content. Position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote following 90 days. Expected Pay Range The expected annual pay range for this role is $55,243 to $91,158. This pay range is the annual salary we in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation paid may fluctuate higher or lower than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future due to several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications, internal equity, adjustments to the requirements and responsibilities of the job, business needs, and economic and market data. Lead onboarding and implementation of cash management services for commercial clients, provide technical support and training, ensure compliance, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues. | Requires 2-4 years banking experience with business customers, strong communication and technical skills related to online banking platforms, and ability to manage multiple client implementations independently. | Overview: This customer facing role provides a smooth and efficient onboarding experience to new and existing commercial customers in support of the goal of providing excellent customer service. This role provides technical and operational support for issues related to Cash Management products and services. Responsibilities: • Leads all aspects of onboarding a new client or adding a new service to an existing client. • Implements new cash management services for commercial clients, including software installations and training, either at the customer site or remotely. • Provides engaging, interactive and comprehensive product training for customers. Tailors training to client needs, including refresher training or proactive outreach. Training focuses on advanced features of Business Online Banking such as Remote Deposit Capture, ACH and Wire Origination and Positive Pay. • Creates detailed and customized documentation packages for new to bank customers or those adding cash management services. Coordinates receipt and monitors for accuracy and completion. • Sets-up cash management services in the bank’s systems, either directly or in coordination with other departments. • Provides support to clients with technical questions about cash management products, resolving any issues that arise during the onboarding and transition phases. • Provides customer service and issue resolution for cash management clients, especially those that transact using online functionality. Collaborates with other departments as necessary to resolve issues and provide timely solutions. • Make decisions and solve problems using sound, inclusive reasoning and judgment. Proactively anticipate needs and prioritize action steps. • Accurately bills for cash management services, either through account analysis or direct billing. • Performs duties with a high degree of independence to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers. • Interacts with all levels of personnel at bank clients (from administrative professionals to the CFO/CEO). • Support sales officers and relationship managers on prospect calls to provide technical expertise and provide training demonstrations. • Performs duties in accordance with all regulatory compliance guidelines. Ensures full compliance with the Bank's Information Security Policies and Procedures. • Performs other duties as may be required or assigned by management. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience. • Two to four years of previous banking experience, preferably working with business customers. • Superior communication skills – both verbal and written. • Strong technical skills and familiarity with online banking platforms • Strong analytical, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills. Able to juggle multiple implementations in various stages as well as day to day inquiries that arise. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
