Operate, monitor, patch, upgrade, and maintain VMware services including VSphere, ESX, VCenter, and Horizon VDI to ensure business continuity and security compliance. | Experience in VMware administration, Microsoft Server administration, and fluency in English, with preferred skills in SCCM, Intune, and Microsoft Teams troubleshooting. | VmWare System Administrator EUMETSAT is looking for a VmWare System Administrator to work at their facilities in Darmstadt, Germany. The role requires support for the maintenance and operation as well as the evolution and enhancement to the ICT Datacentre and Infrastructure services. In particular, the role will focus on: • Operate, monitor, patch, upgrade, troubleshoot, maintain operational procedures for VMware Services: • VSphere • ESX • VCenter • Horizon VDI • Keep the Business continuity environment up to date • Regularly test the business continuity activation procedure and update it as necessary • Regular updates of the OS in order to keep the systems under support at all times • Ensure timely response to security audit findings and identified vulnerabilities The role will be performed between EUMETSAT premises and teleworking.
