The Executive Director of Clinical Innovation is a visionary clinical leader responsible for advancing clinical excellence through strategic innovation, technology integration, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This executive role will lead the design and implementation of transformative care models, optimize clinical workflows, and foster a culture of innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in clinical operations, informatics, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), with a proven ability to lead change in complex healthcare environments. Position Details: Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure.Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in clinical operations or transformation. Demonstrated success in leading interdisciplinary teams and complex change initiatives. Transforming the Health of Our Communities Our Mercy health system was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1986. But our heritage goes back more than 195 years. It began with an Irish woman named Catherine McAuley, who was determined to help women and children in Dublin experiencing poverty. Though Catherine had a modest upbringing, she received an unexpected inheritance that allowed her to fulfill that dream. In 1827, she opened the first House of Mercy in Dublin, intending to teach skills to women and educate children. Many volunteers came to help. A few years later, Catherine founded the Sisters of Mercy, one of the first religious orders whose Sisters were free to walk among the poor and visit them in their homes. In 1843, the Sisters of Mercy came to the United States. In 1856, they traveled to St. Louis. In the years to come, they would establish hospitals throughout the Midwest. Providing personal care and assistance to patients in their homes, including bathing, cooking, and cleaning. | High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, CPR certification, and preferably healthcare experience or CNA certification. | Find your calling at Mercy! Performs personal care and other assigned duties to patients in their home under the guidance and supervision of the skilled nursing staff or therapy staff. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details: Preferred Education: High school diploma or GED. Licensure: Valid driver's license. Experience: Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant and/or completion of the Mercy-approved Patient Care Tech Program. CPR certification required but can be obtained after hire. Preferred Experience: Experience in a homecare or nursing facility. Preferred Other: Has basic computer skills as well as a working knowledge of Windows, Word and Outlook. Physical Requirements: • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
