Coordinate and manage telecommunications projects, liaise with vendors, and ensure timely delivery and testing of network components. | Minimum 3 years in telecom project management with technical knowledge of fiber optic networks and WAN troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. | Job Description: Job Title : Telecom Project Manager / Coordinator Responsibilities • Obtain price quotations and bid proposals, and negotiate commercial terms with vendors to ensure alignment with market standards. • Act as the primary vendor point of contact, ensuring all deliveries and services are executed in accordance with signed contracts. • Lead project kickoff meetings and recurring order status calls, keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of progress and risks. • Proactively identify and escalate issues when vendor delivery timelines or service quality are at risk. • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and validation of vendor-provided test results. • Coordinate patching requests with partner teams to confirm adequate patch cord availability. • Schedule and manage End-to-End (E2E) testing activities and ensure system records are updated accordingly. • Review and validate vendor Turnover Packages (TOPs) and collaborate with internal teams to complete all required documentation. • Prepare and distribute vendor performance surveys based on client-defined evaluation criteria. • Ensure timely and accurate updates of install dates, acceptance status, and Physical Circuit IDs, which are critical for billing and service activation. Required Skills and Experience • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in a Project Manager or Project Coordinator role, with hands-on technical exposure to fiber optic networks. • Strong understanding of OSI Layer 1 (Physical) and Layer 2 (Data Link) concepts, including troubleshooting of WAN point-to-point connections. • Familiarity with data center network components such as router ports, patch panels, DWDM systems, and other transport equipment. • Proven experience working cross-functionally with internal teams including Project Managers, Provisioning, and Field Operations. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight deadlines. • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to evolving processes and priorities.
