Job Description A data analyst is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to help a business make informed decisions and improve performance.​ Core responsibilities • Gather data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, and internal systems, then ensure its accuracy and completeness before analysis.​ • Clean, transform, and organize large datasets to remove errors, handle missing values, and standardize formats.​ • Analyze data using statistical methods and queries to identify patterns, trends, and correlations linked to key business metrics.​ Reporting and visualization • Build dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to present insights in a clear, visual way.​ • Create regular performance reports and ad hoc analyses for stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and opportunities for improvement.​ • Communicate complex findings in simple language so non-technical teams can understand and act on recommendations.​ Data quality and systems • Maintain and update databases or data systems, including writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.​ • Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement checks or processes to keep data accurate and reliable.​ • Support data governance and compliance by following policies on data privacy, security, and documentation.​ Qualifications Typical requirements • Strong skills in SQL and at least one analytical tool or language such as Excel, Python, or R.​ • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and basic statistical concepts.​ • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills to work with stakeholders across business functions.​ Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
