As a hands-on leader, this role manages key programs directly and ensures that customer requirements, project milestones, quality objectives, and financial targets are achieved. Working within the Entry and Authorization Systems Business Unit, the Team Lead serves as the primary point of coordination across cross-functional teams, guiding programs from product development through launch, series production, and end-of-life. Essential Responsibilities: • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Program Managers, ensuring consistent application of program management best practices and internal development procedures • Manage assigned customer programs and provide oversight for all programs within the team portfolio • Ensure programs are executed in accordance with established project plans, customer requirements, quality standards, timing commitments, and financial objectives • Review and monitor program budgets, costs, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with approved targets throughout the program lifecycle • Support Program Managers in developing project plans, tracking progress, resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions when required • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction • Lead the resolution of program challenges, escalations, and cross-functional issues that may impact project deliverables • Coordinate ongoing reviews of program performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvements, and process optimization • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales, and other functional teams • Partner with internal leadership and customer management teams to plan, direct, and control program activities • Ensure the overall integrity, quality, and successful delivery of all assigned programs • Prepare and present program status updates, key performance metrics, and issue escalation reports to leadership as required • Support business development and sales activities by providing program management expertise during customer quotations, RFQs, and new business pursuits • Support sales team in new business RFQ’s • Member of regional Program Management Excellence Team ensuring compliance, robust gate reviews and supporting initiatives to improve Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field • 10+ years of experience in project or program/project management with experience serving as a leader with direct reports • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience • Experience within the automotive industry preferably with complex vehicle electronic / software systems • Proficiency with project management software, ideally Cim-dB • Advance computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP • Understanding of budgetary control and resource allocation procedures • Ability to create a sense of community amongst members of the program management team and cross-functional teams • Ability to exercise coaching skills to ensure Program Managers are properly managing the customer, motivating the internal team, and supporting them to resolve conflicts in a win/win fashion • Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Core Values We Admire: • Integrity – We believe in honest and transparent communication internally and externally • Flexibility – You prefer a fast-paced and dynamic environment and are agile and comfortable enough to keep up as plans change and evolve • Partnership – You’re the excellent team player, able to build strong relationships and effectively partner with other team members to achieve results • Innovation – You want to support Marquardt in pursuing new and game changing technology • Pursuit of excellence – You strive to be the best What We Offer: • Hybrid Model - Minimum 3 days/week in the office • Innovative products and diverse customer base • Competitive compensation and paid vacation annually plus personal time • Generous benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k with matching) • Support and resources to continue learning and training • Tuition reimbursement program • Amazingly smart and fun teammates and a management team invested in your development and success • Supplier discounts on GM, Stellantis, Toyota, and BMW "Not Accepting Visa Sponsorship Applicants"

Lead and supervise a team of program managers while managing projects to meet customer demands, timing, and financial targets. | Bachelor's degree, 10+ years project/program management experience with leadership, proficiency in project management software, and strong communication skills. | We are currently in search of a Program Manager - Team Lead to join our Program Management department of the Marquardt Group in our location Rochester Hills (USA). The Program Manager - Team Lead for BU EAS is responsible for leading, supervising, and ensuring training for a team of Program Managers (2-3). In addition, the Manager will serve as a working manager being responsible for managing projects and ensuring that customer demands, overall project timing, and financial targets are met. This position will lead a project team from development through series production, acting as the primary point of communication between the customer and the project team.
