Oversee multiple construction projects, manage budgets, coordinate with clients and teams, and ensure project milestones are met. | Minimum 5 years of project management experience with an electrical contractor, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills. | We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage Special Projects in Northern and Central California. The Project Manager leads project teams and has overall accountability for completing assigned construction projects successfully. They assist in cultivating opportunities for future construction projects by providing excellent customer service, maintaining quality assurance, and building a financially successful project. Responsibilities: Managing all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects and ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards. Actively maintaining customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service. Managing all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned project(s). Planning, Estimating and scheduling resources to meet project milestones. Acting as liaison with the customer and project staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues, communicate regarding project milestones, etc. Managing project related correspondence and documents through designated document management system Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of related project management experience with an electrical contractor, required ; commercial/industrial experience Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment with very tight deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and efficient. Estimating experience preferred Physical & Work Environment Requirements This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform work involving high computer use. The role may also require occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs or more and the ability to safely visit and navigate active job sites as needed. Role Overview: As a Senior HVAC Modeler, you will play a critical role in the virtual design and construction (VDC) process, working closely with trade specialists and design teams to develop detailed HVAC models. Your expertise will support the successful execution of projects from preconstruction through completion. What You'll Do: - You will collaborate with Mechanical BIM Leads and Trade Specialists to create accurate HVAC models. - You will coordinate with internal modelers and design teams to ensure model integration and clash detection. - You will support the preconstruction phase by developing detailed design assist and design-build models. - You will review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to inform modeling. - You will participate in project meetings to provide technical input and updates on modeling progress. - You will assist in maintaining BIM standards and best practices within the team. - You will troubleshoot and resolve modeling issues to ensure project timelines are met. - You will mentor junior modelers and provide guidance on HVAC modeling techniques. What You Bring: - You have 5+ years of experience in HVAC modeling within a construction or engineering environment. - You are proficient in Revit and Navisworks for BIM modeling and coordination. - You have strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes. - You possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively. - You have experience with clash detection and resolution in BIM workflows. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with Design-Build and Design Assist project delivery methods. - Familiarity with other VDC software such as AutoCAD MEP or BIM 360. - LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications. - Prior experience mentoring or leading a modeling team.
